Great staff. Nice location near everything.

Beautiful home. Felt inviting and warm. Breakfast was great, nice selection. House is well maintained and clean. Rooms felt cozy and private.

The house was absolutely beautiful and the location could not have been better, we were able to walk through beautiful neighborhoods and see beautiful places and the people were all very friendly and helpful to point out places to see The only thing that would’ve been helpful is to have had small refrigerator in the room to have the ability to keep drinks cold

The breakfast was quite basic and more-or-less do-it-yourself. At this price, one expects something freshly made, whether eggs, omelettes, pancakes, etc.

It was absolutely stunning. Inside and outside felt like I was in an old time movie. It was also very peaceful. We even saw a momma black bear and her cub while sitting on the porch. I wish the breakfast options had avocado and scrambled eggs.

Can’t say enough great things about the Albemarle. I look forward to my next trip.

The staff was very nice and super helpful. The inn was beautiful. We loved the room just not where it was located in the inn. The room was nice but the room location was close to the stairs and the front door and we could hear everyone that went up and down and came in the door. The floor were very creaky so it woke us at night in early in the morning. The breakfast was more of a cold breakfast, granola, yogurt, fruit, boiled eggs, etc. Which was disclosed so that is fine. If you like that sort of thing and are more of a light breakfast person you will enjoy it. We enjoyed our stay but honestly probably won't stay there again.

The location was perfect in a quiet residential neighborhood. The staff was friendly and helpful. A beautiful home. I can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

Would prefer a hot breakfast

Location was ideal for visiting Asheville. Grounds of Inn were private, peaceful. In a nice residential neighborhood and within walking distance of restaurants. It was particularly nice to have access to the home’s kitchen at all hours for use of refrigerator, ice, coffee and teas. Staff were very pleasant and helpful! It would have been nice to have had more fresh fruit for breakfasts, particularly during this season of fresh berries.

The historic site and the surrounding area

The Inn and our room exceeded our expectations. The beautiful decor and stately manor were amazing and transported you back in time while enjoying present day comforts. The bed and bright sunlit room were perfect for a relaxed comfortable setting. Lori was great in making us feel welcome and walking us through the Inn and explaining how we could enjoy all the amenities they had to offer. The age of this incredible Inn shows in some creaking stairs, but didn’t impact our favorable impression.

The staff was wonderful. The room quiet and restful. We were married there 7 years before and it's beauty is still there.

Cozy room away from downtown but close enough to enjoy what the city offers. Nothing.
