The room was nice size...but didn't like the condition of the couch and my tub look like it had a rust stain coming from the overflow

This hotel was a great back up when the nearby conference hotel was full. The breakfast was exceptional compared to the typical hotel free breakfast. Also, the Wednesday happy hour social was well done. The room was functional with full size refrigerator, stove top (that we did not use) and microwave. Strangely there was no glassware in the room, but we probably could have asked the front desk for a wine glass. The hotel store did not sell alcohol but the wine and liquor store a few blocks away in Fresh Market was a good choice with friendly staff. The hotel is literally across the street from the Marriott and Four Seasons on the waterfront.

I travel a lot and this was by far the worst hotel , please don’t go here. It started off with a 5 hour delay to get into my room , we got in the room at 3am Becuase the messers up my reservation. When I for into the room it was the wrong one I selected instead of a one bedroom the stuck me into a studio . The next morning I woke up to water gushing everywhere in the room , the trash compactor in the since broke and there as old food and stuff everywhere . The smell was unbearable . To top it off there wee roaches too . They said they didn’t have any rooms to move is too and sent the service people up . They guys came in saw what was happening immediately picked up the phone in the room and told them you have to move them because of the plumbing issue was bad and he saw the roaches as well . They magically found a room a few hours later while we went next door to the Starbucks for a few hours to escape the room . I asked for a refund so I could leave and book another hotel and they refused . This was a total nightmare . Don’t ever go here

accommodation the lady that was checking me in didn't show the respect, I felt she was speaking down to me. She gave me 2 bottles of water and I had to carry it in my hands in addition to my suitcase and backpack meanwhile another costomer next to me was given a little bag to carry those bottles. she didn't say welcome, was constantly doing her own business and talking to others while checking me in. I didn't feel welcomed at all, and I think I know the reason but I don't want to assume but I didn't feel comfortable at all.

The staff was excellent The elevators broke down so we couldn't get back to our room OR to our car in the parking garage which caused us to gave to get an Uber for the event we were staying there for.

The gym facilities and the breakfast were excellent.

Initially gave me access to a room that was already occupied by guests. Then they proceeded to give me THREE rooms where the air conditioning didn't work. I didn't get to bed until about 1am. Absolutely appalling. I've written to corporate about this as well.

location is great, staff are very nice and cooperative. Breakfast is very reasonable and restaurant staff are super kind and cooperative. Coffee, tea and water are available in the lobby all the time. the maintenance is not good as furniture and carpet is old and not very clean and toilets are not in very good condition.

    Exceptional

Very bad experience. Old, dirty rooms. When we asked for another room, we were told none were available. Heavily soiled carpet and furniture. Burns stains in carpet and furniture. Sat on the bed and the frame broke, then they all of a sudden had other rooms. They switched us a room that didn't have working AC. Wanted us to move again and offered no support. I will never return.

Our family really enjoyed our time in Baltimore, and this was a nice compliment to our experience. I appreciated how there was parking available (even though it's through a separate ramp and payment), it was very convenient in a downtown area. The location was excellent, felt safe, close to dining options, and was walkable to the harbor. Make sure to enjoy the breakfast, it was a valuable addition to the stay and a great way to begin our morning. It's connected to a Starbucks and they even offer cookies in the afternoon. Great for families and for business.

If you are travelling with a family and want to be centrally located at a reasonable price, then this hotel is for you. The rooms are large and well located (5 minute walk to the central pier). The rooms are a little dated/worn and could use a renovation. The breakfast is okay with generous opening hours, and the parking (at the rear of the hotel) is reasonably priced (we paid 50 dollars for 48 hours). The staff are friendly and helpful..

This was my first stay at Homewood Suites for my annual visit to a music festival in Baltimore. After my incredible stay it definitely won't be my last. My room was clean, comfortable and had every amenity I needed for my 5 day stay. The staff was super friendly, helpful and professional. I truly enjoyed this trip and Homewood Suites had a lot to do with that.

    Very good

When I book a 4+ star hotel I don't expect to see wallpaper peeling off the walls at the seams in every area of the room, it was the same in 3 difference rooms. The furniture in the sitting area had tears, stains and no comfort, it was just old. We had to use pillows from the bed just to be comfortable. The baroom was very dated with lots of caulking. We constantly had to take the lid off the back of the toilet because the chain kept getting caught under the flapper. The shower nozzle had settings to adjust to your comfort but it didn't work either. It had one setting, extreme pressure. Kitchen area had flooring from the 80s. We had to switch rooms because of ants in the first one and a wore out mattress. There was no AC in any of the hallways leading to the rooms. Just intense heat. When you walk into lobby there are huge stains on the carpet with worn out furniture with frayed edges. The lounge where you can have drinks and breakfast is comparable to one you would find at a budget hotel. As i stated the wow factor just wasnt there, Nothing to impressive you at all. No door man to greet you. I ask one of the hotel representatives why dids everything in this hotel look like its tired and dated, she told me they were due for an upgrade. If your hotel is less than impressive then don't arge premium prices only for your guest to be disappointed with their stay. I which i had spent the extra $600 and stayed at the 4 Seasons considering we were stuck inside 2 days due to the rain.
