great place thats close to legoland , cons the rooms acs are limited to 70• had to open door cuz room felt stuffy after kids took warm shower . tv noise level set to low also cant hear tv over the shower , even the mini fridge felt as if it was not cold enough, as far as the rest 👍 clean room and nice view with balcony to sit out and enjoy the fresh air

Phone didn't work in room, Would go back if in Carlsbad.

Property is under a major renovation. Lots of construction noise during the day and clutter detracts from the ambiance.

Overall I like the location the area surrounding is great. Only knock is had I known the place was doing renovations throughout the property I probably wouldn’t have booked it but the staff was great and property was nice can’t beat it for the price.

The room was very clean and cozy. The furniture was in good condition, and the bed was clean and comfortable. There is access to a lovely inner courtyard where you can relax in comfort. We were very pleased; if we are in the area again, we will undoubtedly choose this hotel.

We love the location to the beach and food as well as surrounding activities. The property is nice. Our AC didn’t work for hours and we had a baby which was an issue. Turn down service never came no matter how many times we called and asked. We had to find new towels to use at the pool. They just kept apologizing and did not do anything to help. When they did send someone to fix our AC/clean they kept trying to talk to us but we didn’t speak the same language so it was difficult trying to explain.

The location is great, near the outlet mall and beach. Room was updated, however the floor was not clean. Mopping the floor would be ideal. Also, maybe adding some rugs would help. Price was good. Our hotel room phone did not work. Not a big deal for us, but maybe helpful to have a working phone for other guests. The property is renovating at the moment.

It was closed to resturants and stores. AC wasn't working in the room. Only hot water in bathroom sink. Overpriced for the room amenities

Cleanliness was awful. The floors were super dirty and there was a cup left on the balcony with cigarettes in it. It was never cleaned in the 3 nights we were there. Construction workers everywhere and trash. The website claims to have coffee makers in every room and it didn’t. This was a terrible place to stay and if I would have known in advance I wouldn’t have stayed here. Beware

The grounds were nice with yard toys such as cor hole, large chess, and swimming pool. Hotel was under construction during our stay. I wish we would have known that before or stay. The room was clean, but still felt dirty, may have been the blemishes around the door and dirty looking baseboards.

We arrived at 1 am and there was no other available room. I tried to contact hotel.com but there was no real customer service available. The front desk lady came in with a broom and chase some bugs away but we had to stay since I had a toddler and no time to find another hotel.

Construction was every where. Cardio room, Business Center, Lobby, Laundry all closed. Boxes, workers, spray painting, orange cones, dirty laundry, trash was our view along with the massive noise of the system (air conditioning). No discount or subtraction of resort fee or cost for inconvenience, noise, terrible smells, lack of amenities, etc
