Aloft by Marriott Chattanooga Hamilton Place

Negative: Parking. Was not made aware of breakfast times/location (it was busy and I forgot to ask). Overall, highly recommend.

Room great , enjoyed the bar and music . It would’ve been fine if you served breakfast.

The person at the front desk acted like they couldn't honor the rate promised so I had to use my points.

Very modern. I would stay there again.

Fun bar

Everything was good. Staff was very helpful and restaurants were walking distance.

Room was clean and spacious, as usual. The pool was nice. We also enjoyed the bar upstairs and the coffee shop on the corner.

The room was very clean and the amenities were nice. A very contemporary layout and includes a refrigerator in the room. The bathroom layout was quite different (hence the aloft) than normal and didn’t have an actual door separating the shower from the main room. This was fine for my stay but if sharing a room with, say a coworker, that might feel a little odd. The staff was very nice and welcoming and the location was so convenient to the mall and places to eat.

The check-in representative was polite, friendly, knowledgeable, and provided excellent service. However, after returning from dinner, I sat in the lobby while waiting for my husband and observed another employee being extremely rude to the representative who had checked me in. To the point that it appeared he was bullying him. I do not believe a respected hotel brand would want employees behaving this way, especially when they are the face of the company and responsible for providing guests with a warm welcome. I found the language he used to “coach” another employee highly inappropriate and unprofessional. I specifically remember him saying that he did not understand how the company hired people like him, that he did not know anything, and that he should be fired. What made the situation even worse was that these comments were made in front of other guests. There was also a minor in the lobby who was crying. To be honest, I am not sure if it was his child or someone else he was reprimanding, but the entire situation appeared very unprofessional. Additionally, I was unable to get proper rest because there were multiple children on my floor around midnight screaming, running through the hallways, and knocking on guests’ doors. When I reported the issue to the front desk, no action appeared to be taken.

Great location, very clean, the room was really nice. The parking.

No door (only a curtain) to shower/sink area. Which was not depicted in the pictures. Although hotel was updated and at a great location. I probably would’ve chosen somewhere else, because when it comes to the bathroom, I like my privacy.

Exceptional

Very clean property inside and out! The kids loved the pool and we loved that it was only 4.5’ with a small splash pad area. The room was well designed and spacious enough tor our family of 4! Perfect location for dining and shopping and a quick drive to area attractions.

I loved the location. The room was clean and the staff was very friendly. I didn't like that they didn't provide breakfast.

The property was nice and cleaned. It also had a pleasant smell. Everything was wonderful!

Excellent experience

One suggestion for improvement would be adding a second mirror in the bathroom or dressing area. When two people are getting ready at the same time, having a dual-mirror setup would make the space much more convenient. Despite these minor issues, the cleanliness of the room and overall experience were very good, and I would consider staying here again.
