Rodeway Inn Clemmons - Winston-Salem Area

I don’t know how they think they’re open…believe we l were only ones there! I even saw small cockroach in room! Whole place is TERRIBLY lacking in everything! Have they even passed all inspections?? Our room still needs to be finished …flooring paint no way to hang clothes!

We didn't know the hotel was under renovation until check in. If we were told prior to this,; we would have looked elsewhere. The clerk said they were not allowed to write this on the website. But, they could have phoned or emailed us. They had both. The room was okay. The air conditioner was very noisy and woke us up. No cups & one tiny bar of soap. We are from seven hours away. Therefore we didn't know the area, so for one night we stayed.

Left with in 10 mins of check in and checked out due to feeling unsafe to stay the night with just me and my son. The door latch did not have the ability to bolt from the top to secure non entry if someone tried to break in. The air conditioning was poor and broken in appearance and there was a ceiling tile missing in the bathroom above the mirror with exposed wires. The exterior of the room was extremely poor looks to be under construction. The layout and doors make the building appear to have been a refurbished hospital or rehab center. Everything had an extremely creepy vibe and not welcoming at all.

The Hotel is very clean and quiet. The room was very clean and quiet. The vending machines were fully stocked and the ice machine worked great. The bed was soft and quite comfortable. For the price this is a very nice Hotel.

Good place for the price.

It was uniquely interesting to see they have to use your wifi for the building to have wifi service. Also it was quiet but two extention cords to run electrical current was interesting too! Room was clean, they had no maintence staff on site and the staff living situation was interesting the, tons of storage rooms and plenty of space fof them to live there as a family.

Nice hotel. Very quiet, room was clean, plenty of hot water. Ice and vending area was outstanding. For the price it was very nice!

Clean and easy to use. But kind of put off an old psychiatric ward vibe.

Our room was super clean and I am VERY picky. Comfortable and a great value for the price. Would stay there again.

The person who greeted me was sleeping on a mattress behind the desk in a small room.

There was no heat on in the building, tub and tv didn’t work. Our room door was WIDE open when we arrived. The security lock was broken on our door. Tries to ask to change rooms and was told there were no rooms. The room was dirty, the trim falling off, lamps broken…you name it, it was either broken or not working. Worst hotel experience ever. Do NOT recommend staying here.

Horrendous experience. The hallway smelled very strongly of curry, on the 4th floor, where our room was. Our room itself smelled of old pizza. It was clear the room hadn't been cleaned properly. The floor was very dirty, and the sheets on one of the bed was very wrinkled. Upon further inspection, the blanket smelled strongly of urine. When I called down to the front desk, they only offered to bring me a new blanket. I asked for a refund, they said they would talk to a manager, but never got back to me.

There was nobody at the front desk multiple times. One time I waited over half an hour for someone to help me at the front desk. My room key stopped working twice in one day.

Stayed one night; it was very clean in the hallways and in our room. Bed was very comfortable.

I stayed for 2 nights. Nobody even checked my room, much less clean it! Ran out of toilet paper the first night, and obviously, it wasn't replaced. Good thing i was conservative with my towel usage.

Staff is very friendly and accommodating. One issue is that since this property has recently changed hands. There is a delay with installing a laundry area which is critical to me when traveling. Overall though I couldn’t ask for for from the staff, very very nice and helpful.

Extremely friendly service

The owners and staff at this hotel are soo nice and pleasant to interact with. The rooms are immaculate. They actually took the time to stop and ask questions about our stay and was it anything they could do or not do. Wonderful will definitely be my go-to place.
