Great breakfast of muffins, youget and fresh fruit, egg fritters - all homemade with fresh orange juice, tea and coffee freely available. Loved the welcome cookies and social wine and nibbles. Diana, Heather and Cory were fonts of information, friendly and caring they couldn't do enough for us. Spotlessly clean and a home full of old fashioned charm and charector. The bed has seen better days and sags in the middle. Pillows a little lumpy.

We absolutely loved our stay!!! It absolutely exceeded our expectations, it was just wonderful. The building was so charming, and the decor really transports you to another time. We loved drinking wine on the porch, watching the sunset. We also saw some deer walking in front of the building too which was so cool! Because of the time of year, we also had really nice view of the mountains as well. The breakfasts were all fantastic and the wine they served in the evenings was wonderful. Of course the massive soaker tubs and robes, as well as the fireplace in the room were absolutely amazing to set the tone for a relaxing weekend. But above all else, the absolute best thing about the Holden House was the staff. I was genuinely blown away by the care and service they provided. They were all so welcoming and always so willing to help make the stay as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They also gave us some recommendations of what to do around town that were great!! Though of course the location and the rooms were absolutely fantastic, genuinely the thing that really put this stay over the top into being the best B&B I've ever stayed was really the lovely staff here!! By the time we checked out, I was already planning another trip back to stay here again!!

Staff was attentive and friendly . Breakfast was fresh and delicious. We enjoyed the nightly cheese, fruits, and vegetables they provided. The neighborhood felt safe and was close to all of the main attractions. I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys staying in a B&B.

We were greeted immediately, given a tour and asked about dietary needs. They listened, were so kind and helpful for everything! The Pikes Peak suite was outstanding, clean, spacious and super comfy. Breakfast was delicious along with the lovely wine afternoons. They gave us great recommendations for local restaurants as well

The breakfast was out of this world delightful - well served, delicious , memorable- plus they present a “social hour” later in the afternoon/evening with delectable appetizers, wine, non-alcoholic options. The staff is so so kind and hospitable, the rooms are well appointed, comfortable, and very special. I am a return visitor, and will be back again.

The rooms are huge, really small apartments, not just single bedrooms. Excellent breakfasts and 5 pm snacks.

I love staying here! It’s always so clean, the breakfast is delicious, and the staff are so accommodating and kind! I have zero complaints.

My wife and I stayed at Holden House 1902 May 29-June 3. From the moment we arrived it was evident that Sallie’s top priority was the welcoming comfort of her guests. We stayed in the immaculate Pikes Peak Suite, with its wonderful balcony overlooking a beautiful neighborhood on Pikes Peak Avenue. Each morning and afternoon we were greeted with wonderful hostesses, Brooke, Heather, Kory, and Robin, who were not only cheerful but also so attentive! We arrived as guests and felt we left as friends. Thanks to each of you for our wonderful stay and we miss all of you already and hope to return soon.

The rooms were beautiful and clean and breakfast was lovely. But the stand out aspect was by far the staff. All the in-keapers were friendly and knowledgeable about the area. In particular Brook took the time to learn about our interests and recommended unique and personalized activities that we never would have found on our own. Our trip would not have been the same without our stay at the Holden House.
