Hotel Mockingbird, Dallas, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

This is one of the best stays out of town I have had!

I didn't like the valet parking mandatory $46 added to your bill. Without question. No place for friends to visit and park without paying $20. Rooms were small. No free breakfast. Other than that it was fair.

Water provided in the rooms, a nice coffee machine —-a step above most hotels. Rooms were quiet from hallway traffic and outside noises.

Wonderful place to stay. The AC had a hard time cooling. We kept it maxed and it was comfortable but we like it cold at night. The AV struggled to make the room cold.

Our valet team were swift and so professional with a huge touch of genuine hospitality. I’m definitely coming back for a girls trip soon!!!!!!

So clean and the people I wish the dog fee per dog had been explained. I was quite $100 for the dogs, not per dog.

How clean and respectful everyone was. The staff when I arrived from my travels they were very welcoming at 11PM. I was late checking in due to my flight. The beds were so comfy and the pillows I would love to have what they were. I NEED THEM!! Only thing I wish I would have known about breakfast. The staff was very helpful. In particular they have a shuttle service that makes reaching entertainment in the area very much a part of the reason to stay. Wish we could have stayed longer but we plan to be back.

For the most part the staff was friendly and helpful but the morning front desk clerk was not friendly and not helpful and bordered on nasty . I hope management figures out they have a problem with her.

Bad

The staff was excellent. Everyone from check in, dinner, breakfast, check out, to valet services were extremely helpful and friendly. Rooms were very nice, clean and comfortable. The dining experience at the hotel was exceptional, food and service.

Breakfast was fresh. Room was cool.
