Homewood Suites by Hilton Des Moines Airport

The room was nice and spacious

Breakfast was very good but staff was not helpful or friendly at all. Person who checked us in didn't greet us or really say anything at all. Had no idea what time breakfast was so had to call the front desk later and ask. Room was nice and bath products were very nice.

The Homesuites by Hilton was incredibly quiet - day and night. The room was spacious, clean and well-kept up. We slept well and also liked having ‘real food’ on offer for breakfast, extra towels, and on-site laundry. One tip would be to bring dishwasher & laundry pods, and maybe some paper towels.

Hotel was nice. Looked like someone forgot to pick up some tissues on the floor. But the rest was nice.

The service of Emily at the front desk was amazing. Emily worked to place all 8 of our families’ rooms on 3rd floor so we could be close together. Great breakfast options and a lot of space for the guests to sit and enjoy breakfast. Pool looked nice but we didn’t get an opportunity to swim. Refrigerator and microwave in the room w pullout couch. Appreciate that bathroom sink is separate from shower and stool. Very close to airport if needed. Not the place to stay if you want to walk near the downtown or river.

The property was clean, the staff was very friendly and most importantly the rooms were so nice. Clean fluffy beds and finally a room that still have microwaves and full size refrigerators in the rooms. Also a space to cook if you wanted to. But they had breakfast too. This hotel is top tier!

Great pool (bummed no not tub), rooms were spacious and great for larger families.

I needed a little help in the office area making some copies and Megan from the front desk went out of her way to make it happen. I really appreciated the personal attention she gave to me. Way to go Megan.

The website states that the airport shuttle runs 24 hours. We arrived at 11:30pm (later, I know) but anticipated being able to shuttle to the hotel. Many other hotel shuttles were going, but not theirs.

The property was very clean, the staff was friendly, the pool was nice, they also have an outdoor basketball court which was nice.

They let us check in early at the last minute . They were very helpful we lost the room key and they were very helpful even though it was very late they let us know who would be there during shifts if we needed extra stuff it was phenomenal. Nothing I loved everything

This Homewood Suites just wasn't what we usually expect from them. It was okay, but the beds were a little small and extremely squeaky. Have never slept on a bed in any hotel as noisy as these - it was both beds in the room. Every time someone barely moved, there were horrible noises. Very annoying and meant it took some time to fall asleep! The room seemed clean enough, but overall, just didn't look as nice as others we have stayed at.
