This is a hotel where the sewage system doesn't work, the toilets don't work, the shower doesn't work, it smells very bad, it's dirty, and they didn't give me my money back. I paid $300 for nothing.

Shuttle driver was amazing, room as adequate although the heater was very loud and you could not sleep with it on ( at -8 f temperature it got cold quickly ) an the breakfast, was very very poor , advertised as a continental but in truth is was 4 different packets of squashed cakes, half gone off fruit ( bananas were mostly black) like warm water for tee, no fruit juice at all, no cereal, no toast. Very poor breakfast

Room was not clean there was uriine around toilet and dark long hair in tub ( I’m a blonde). Shuttle was good. Whole place was very dated and needed help.

The Airport Shuttle was on time, which was amazing! It is about 15-20 minutes away. The hotel needs some TLC but is isn't falling apart. The carpet has stain everywhere, the bathroom needs remodeling but the bathroom and room was clean. The sheets were clean. The fan for the heater was making so much noise that I turned it off completely and it was already 70 in the room, so I wasn't going to freeze. The staff was very nice. This hotel was bought back as is but they are doing everything to keep it clean. The breakfast was poor, but it was so much better than nothing at all.....they had bananas, apples, commercial muffins and drip coffee. They have a shuttle every hour going to the airport and back. What matters to me is to sleep good, get cleaned up and I am happy. I had a black friday deal for $66, so I was fine.

This hotel fits the pay by the hour crowd. Infested with roaches. Mold every where. Broken windows. Ripped curtains that do not close. AC/heat machine motors sounds like the airplanes. And blow dirty air. There is rust near every pipe line where water pours. Doors appeared to have pets chewed on them. Locks on the doors dont work. One staff member was empathetic and showed compassion and wanted to help me in any way he could but the other one I encountered was oblivious.

This hotel is a work in progress. The current proprietor has occupied the property for a few months. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. They are working to bring the hotel up to a higher standard. It's a little rough at the edges. The location is good and the surrounding area feels safe. They have ample self parking. Immediately next door is a gas station/7 eleven. Within 1 block is a Wendy's. Approximately 3 blocks in the other direction is a Starbucks, McDonald's, Taco Bell, Portillo's, Jimmy John's, and a liquor store. I didn't try the breakfast. They are planning to staff the restaurant and bar sometime in the future. The indoor swimming pool was dry during my visit. The hotel is quiet and comfortable. I had difficulty finding their airport shuttle when I arrived at O'Hare. They are using a minivan with very small signage so be aware if you are planning to use it. I will stay there again when I visit Chicago. The nightly rate is competitive.

Very dirty and runned down.
-
The fridge was broken and all our food went to waste

The airport shuttle was impossible to find as it was not labeled Grand Royal. I called the desk from the airport 9 times! No one answered. I took an Uber instead. The front desk person was frazzled. He gave me a room that was not yet cleaned. Housekeeping was nearby and very helpful. They told the front desk person to move me to a room they just cleaned. They let me in.

I am still waiting on my refund as I was never checked in
