This is our "go to" hotel when we need to get out of the heat in Phoenix. Great, friendly and very helpful staff who actually got us a room at a great price last minute. We love the indoor poor and spa, that is the best way to relax after a day of hiking. 4 minutes to downtown Flagstaff, there is very little noise and rooms and facilities are very well kept up. Since our last trip they completed construction of a very cozy meeting room with comfortable seating and a fireplace to have a nice nitecap in the wintertime. Finally you have the great restaurant, The Northern Pines right across ffrom the rooms. We are already planning our trip for October!!

We've stayed at the Kendrick previously and most likely will in the future

Clean room, staff was very helpful, the bar was convenient with a very nice bar tender and waitress who was on our every need.
-
Good location Was given the wrong room and didn’t read my message that my wife needed to be close to elevator due to can’t walk far and was put in room at end of building further from elevator.
-
The room was awesome with a balcony that had chair. The room was clean and stocked with enough towels and other needs. The sofa was comfortable. The food and drinks were great at the attached restaurant. Had plenty of parking and parking lot was well lite. What a great buy for the money!!

Otherwise, I enjoyed a great stay. The hotel room was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I plan to return again.
-
Location Stained towels, musty smell throughout hotel, Squeaky floors, beds were not queen felt smaller.
-
And while no fault of the hotel, the amount of crackheads circling this place makes it unsafe with kids. We even got to watch a show with an arrest in the middle of the street from our balcony, which f which we could not help but watch a homeless man set up camp about 10 feet out from our room. Plenty of meth and fentanyl out there, very sad scene.

Clean room and friendly staff

We enjoyed Black Barts Steakhouse just across the interstate at Little America. It’s an iconic restaurant with singing servers.

Great location and neatly maintained property
-
Location worked well. View of the mountain from 3rd floor was nice. Rooms were small and dirty or at least the bathroom wasn't clean. For the money I would stay elsewhere. Worth about $99 or less a night.

Room was very clean, It had a cute little balcony too. No problems or complaints about my stay.
-
The sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed or washed. That is my only complaint.

This remodeled hotel was very cute and we enjoyed the pool. The staff was helpful. I wish they had provided a breakfast. The bathroom was a little grungy and the tub pooled water near the drain. There was a visible stain on one of the bedspreads. The restaurant attached was delicious, but we didn’t like that they added a few they said was for paying their employees a living wage. That fee should just be part of the prices on the menu so it wasn’t a surprise amount. All business should factor living wage into their prices and if they can’t they shouldn’t be in business. I didn’t like that the owner was attempting to blame the city’s living wage initiative by charging it as an extra fee to draw attention to the added cost.

Front desk staff was very polite and helpful. Bed was very stiff. You could tell they use to be smoking rooms. My check out time was 11 am and we had housekeeping knocking on our door at 9:15 trying to come in and clean which was upsetting. I was awake already but if I was asleep still I would have been woken up and very pissed off since our check out time was at 11. when I told the front desk about it his response was they probably just checking to see if you were still in the room. Of course I am still in the room, my check out time is not untill 11

We were very pleased with the Kendrick hotel. The staff and property were great! We used the pool & spa, as well as having two meals in the on-site restaurant.
