Motel 6 Galveston, TX - Beach/Seawall

We arrived at the location and the guy in the front said the system what down and it wouldn’t be up for hours or until 7am. we couldn’t get a refund because no one responded to our message we sent. I had to spend more money for a different hotel.

Staff was friendly and super helpful. Our room smelled horrible , like mold. there was no tv, or fridge as pictured in photos. Beds were super hard. Water pressure was super low. I personally wouldn’t stay here again.

It took 4 rooms before I would agree to sleep in it because the roaches were so so bad. The desk clerk was understanding and helped me find a clean room.

It was a pretty room It had no tv, no refrigerator, no ice, no iron or ironing board. No closet.

First time here,miss Curtis was very helpful, they had a little remodeling going on in the parking lot but was no issue, the room was so clean and nice, air could have blown colder but was cold enough, we will definitely be back!!!!

Roaches were a big issue. Broken mini fridge (kept leaking)

The location.... been staying here for years once a year it was called the beachcomber.... Room was freshly and very poorly renovated, everything was wet in the room. Walls, floor, counters everything, bedding all damp. No fridge no microwave, there's a TV that doesn't work ?. Absolutely everything was moldy.... horrible experience the worst in over 20 years of stopping in for the weekend.

Nothing Everything including the roaches and local crack heads.

They were still under construction so they had no cable or tv… but we weren’t in the room all weekend so that was ok

Convenience to restaurants and gas station . That it was under construction. Feel like that should have been disclosed to us. Due to this there was no Tv service.

They were remodeling, there was no TV the stairs and sidewalk were actively being painted so we had to go around the entire building to get to the room. They gave me three rooms that were occupied before I finally got a room.

tv not working and no fridge in the rooms or microwave

The front desk lady was very rude and had an attitude from the moment I walked in. After going to swim in the middle of the night, we came back to the hotel and the man working the front counter, made up a story for the police to escort us off the property. So we didn't even get to stay the night.

There are some sketchy people that hang out in the parking lot after dark. I don't think they're monitoring their cameras.

The location was perfectly close to the beach and close to the convention center. Update your listings to under renovation. Motel tv was nonfunctional at all, AC didn't work, no microwave, no coffee machine, mini fridge stopped working and left a big water puddle, and to finish it off the room had roaches. Deposit fee was waived but if there would have been another hotel with rooms available I would have left.

Location was under renovation, no tv or internet, blankets had but holes in it, upon check in rooms were not ready when the key was given
