The property was well maintained and staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and spacious. The were only a couple of negatives with my stay. The first was the lack of hot water. This was not an issue of the facility running out of hot water, but rather the controlled temperature of the water. You had to turn the water all the way to the hot setting and then you only got slightly warm water. The second negative was the air conditioning in the room. It also was controlled and you were only able to set it to 68 degrees. It was extremely warm outside and the room never really cooled down which made it difficult to sleep in a warm room. I’ve stayed at this location on several other occasions and never had these issues. Hopefully they will address these for the next time I stay here, otherwise, it will be my last stay at this location.

The place was noisy. People fighting at all hours. Didn’t feel safe. People sleeping in their vehicles out by our door.

Everything was okay however the breakfast was very poor

Would stay there again. Clean room, plenty of parking, very good breakfast.

Room old lots of paint to cover up. Bathroom shower dirty. Did not drain well at all. Bathroom sink counter sticky. Floor lifting. VERY noisy - road noise. Air conditioner did not work well. Would not recommend

Old motel check-in area has a very musty odor. It almost made me not check in. The room also had a bit of a musty smell. There was a squeak when getting into the bed from the innerspring mattress, I think. Spend an extra $20 and stay somewhere else.

Decent enough to get some sleep and a shower. Nothing special, basic motel style setup. Sheets & towels were not changed in the 2 days I was there even though I saw the staff working the rooms.

Though the breakfast offerings were a little light, the property and rooms were spotless. The clerk was both efficient and friendly. We were traveling on motorcycles and a storm was expected in the area that night. He offered us a sheltered parking area to keep our bikes out of the weather. Dunkin' nearby as well.

We stopped here for the night while driving a large trailer for work. They had room, a good price & ample parking for our awkward vehicle. The room was clean & the stay came with breakfast. This is definitely a motel setting, so the doors open to the outside. That didn't bother us as our stay was quiet, but if it were busier it might feel kind of exposed.

It was kinda cheap. Emphasis on the kinda part. The staff was very kind. The breakfast was good. It was dirty. Floors were slimy, the property was ran down overall. You could tell it was done in a hurry.

Very first day of our stay we were locked out of our room and key didn’t work. They attempted to unlock but even the master key didn’t work. Had to wait for maintenance the next morning at 11. Breakfast poor quality. Bright lights right outside the room at night. Bed quality was ok at best but everytime you’d flip over at night the base of bed would make a very loud noise. Would not stay here again.

The $290 room rate was excessive because James Madison University graduation. The room wasn’t worth it. The lobby smelled overwhelmingly of moth balls

Staff was nice. Property was clean. Things falling apart. Our front door was bent at the bottom leaving a gap where air and small creatures could come through. This was applicable to both rooms that I booked. There was a "shower chair" in the bathroom where the seat was not secured.
-
Very pricey for the condition it is in. The shower never got hot and had no pressure. It is a very basic “motel” and old. They have tried to fix it up but you can see the rust underneath.

This was a motel not a hotel. There was a continental breakfast including coffee, bagels, and fruit. The room and the main lobby had a strong odor that was sill on my clothes when we returned. We tried to switch out our rooms with the "sister" hotel next door, but they wouldn't allow it. If you have elderly people staying, the odor might bother them.

Ideal for a quick trip. Clean, easy, friendly staff.

Front desk was very nice, the room was a bit outdated, but our beds were comfortable for our needs for the one night we were there. My only complaint was metal steps leading us to the 2nd floor, whenever anyone used them we could hear it a few times during the night. Even if someone walked up them slowly, the noise could still be heard in our room, so that woke me up a few times. The area was convenient to food, gas, and especially COFFEE!!! I would stay here again, but not near the steps.
