Average budget hotel room. Only on property for a single night. Plenty of parking and close to chain restaurants.
-
The elevator smelled AWFUL. Like urine and Febreze. Air vents were filthy.
-
Wasn’t the worst but wasn’t the best. Pillows are flat, may as well just go without one. You could hear people arguing with each other through the thin walls. The elevator needs servicing, you should never be shaking when riding an elevator. Amenities… zero. Price point should have been way lower for this type of slumming. Pictures on Expedia must have been taken day 1 of opening because they do NOT look this nice. Please lift up the mattress covers… gross

The room was fairly clean. A couple of cobwebs on the ceiling and the refrigerator freezer was full of frozen ice with something spilt all over. The microwave certainly needed a good cleaning also. The bed was comfortable, but there was a lot of noise throughout the night from doors closing. Staff was friendly. The only thing offered in the morning is coffee, which was pretty watered down.

Motel 6 is great for pets

I’ve stayed here two times. Staff is helpful, and room clean.
-
Stay was fantastic. No issues to report.
-
Not good. Able to sleep. However there was some kind of sticky substance on the wall which we found in am before we left. We wiped it down. There was also some sticky substance in shower we wiped down before showering in am. 2 towels 1 wash cloth for 2 people.
-
Just the basics, no frills, didn't even have soap in the room.
-
Was a basic one night motel feeling. Nothing to brag about. Very small room but a good tx. Needs new mattresses
-
The place was in shabby condition. And beds were terrible. I would not stay again.
-
The staff was excellent but the rest of the stay was a definite dud. Way better hotels in the same area

Cobwebs in the corners. Dust everywhere. The whole place smelled like someone was getting high at a crawfish boil. The elevator acts like the cables are about to snap and plummet you to your death. One tiny, flat pillow per person with no extras available. One towel per person no extras available. Mattress looked like a horse gave birth on it.

Don’t have enough towels for us. For 3 people we got one towel and an “oh well, housekeeping was supposed to take care of that”. The hallway smelled like garbage. The staircases smelled like dog crap and old food.

Manager tried to change me $30 for a 1 hour early check in. I waited till 3 to check in. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

We stayed 2 nights at the start of the hot rod power tour. Both nights were sold out do the hotel was very busy. Stairwells filled with trash are not air conditioned and stink of spoiled food and used baby diapers. Only one ice machine on the first floor. Elevator scary with significant drops When leaving each floor. Our room did not have bedbugs, but the floors were sticky and needed to be moped. Our double room came either two bath towels and two wash clothes only. No soap no shampoo, nothing. No fridge, no microwave in the room. Mattress and sheets stained with rust maybe? They did have coffee in the lobby each morning. The location was within walking distance of a large mall, restaurants, and a movie theater. The parking lot is in need of asphalt patches and litter pick up. An old laundry cart was upside down outside in the grass. The shower was dirty and o cleaned it and the rest of the bathroom myself. The AC worked and we slept well. But there was paint all over things that should not have paint on them like light switches, towel bars, and the sink. Needs a deep clean, maintenance, and an owner to show some pride in ownership of the property. The Hampton next door looked much nicer. If price is your main thing, it ok.

The staff were absolutely 10/10, the fridge had something growing in it and the sheets we’re supposed to be white I think. It was a safe location for a cheap nightly fare!
-
Not the best motel in Joliet, but not the worst either. This isn't even the worst Motel 6 in Joliet, so there's that.
-
The front girls were the best. First floor pets, third smokers so if you are on second you are sandwiched between the two. Isn’t a good hotel for me.

The staff was very nice. The hotel itself is very run down. Needs new carpet (it's disgusting), the elevator smells strongly of urine, the bed was extremely broken down and lumpy. There were multiple burn holes in the blanket.
