Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Lithonia/Stone Mountain

The entire hotel is in need of major repair. The carpets smell damp like mildew and the halls smell of Marijuana. There is plaster falling apart in our bathroom. Water stains from leaks on the ceiling near the bed. Smoke detector in our room was under the desk, the mini fridge leaked. The door tracks at the bottom of the elevator is dangerous, my husband tripped twice. Our entry card had to be reprogrammed every evening upon us returning. The hotel cleaning staff in poor, as we had to ask for cleaning services at the front desk, only to return and find our room had not been cleaned. As for the free Breakfast that was a joke, saran wrapped pastries. waffles, cereal, milk, apple juice and Bad Coffee. I wish I could get some sort of refund, But I won't hold my breath for that. I will just tell people who inquire NEVER to stay at the Microtel in Lithonia. GA. A major waste of money.

Nothing at all. The pictures on the website does not match your actual rooms. The room was dirty. Floor had food crumbs on it, food crumbs against head broad and mattress. Drawers in the room broken. Closet door missing, rod missing to hang clothes on. Bathroom nasty patched up. Carpet disgusting. Whole place smelled of weed. Mirror nailed to the wall with the nails sticking out. Spider web on stuff.

The property was awful! It needs to be inspected. It was dirty and smelly.

Someone needs to go and inspect this hotel. We felt like we were in a brothel!! Condoms on floor in lobby!!! People sleeping in their cars.. bathrooms had things on mirror and carpet had big fake eyelash. We slept in our clothes on top of bedspread left as soon as sun was up. REALLY!!! Someone go inspect!!!

Beware, pictures online were VERY deceptive. Would NOT recommend

Nothing How the front desk person was rude

The location spooked me. One way in with people sitting in cars as I pulled in. The location looked like very high traffic and has more than over nighters Just felt unsafe I didn’t check in I went to a Holiday Inn Express where the police was visible making rounds no loitering parking lot and all areas of property where visible.

I was very dissatisfied with the hotel itself. To carry the Wyndham attached, is unlike anything I have experienced. The room had very low lightning (1 light). Bathroom outdated, carpet needs to be removed. This location isn’t family friendly. It wasn’t what I was expecting. However, the parking lot had plenty of lights. The staff were very friendly and polite.

Security appears to be lacking, with non-guests frequently lingering around the property and side entrances easily accessible. The environment often felt chaotic, with arguments in hallways and children unsupervised in common areas. Room quality was inconsistent and poorly maintained. I frequently encountered malfunctioning or outdated TVs with incompatible generic remotes, broken or hard-to-find working outlets, nonfunctional lights, stained furniture, dirty microwaves, and worn HVAC units. Cleanliness was questionable at times, including towels with hair on them. Smoking rooms were inconsistent, with windows that sometimes opened and sometimes didn’t, and no ashtrays provided. Customer service was also problematic. Staff behavior was often unprofessional, including inappropriate comments, intrusive interactions, and inconsistent enforcement of policies. I experienced pricing discrepancies between in-person quotes and online rates, deposit issues during late checkout, and unnecessary confrontations despite clear communication.
