Unique and beautiful and the amenteties are top tier. The restaurant and bars are also fantastic. Also a short walk/uber to many different restaurants if you aren’t feeling what is available there.

We loved our stay. Loved the access to the facilities, classes, and rooftop.

This place was a gem. We used the lap pool each day and the room was clean and well maintained. Loved the central location. Would definitely recommend this property.

Great location and super friendly staff. You can use the entire club as part of your stay.

Melissa in front desk is Superb. She knows how to connect to customer and very personable. She went beyond and above her duty. Even taught us how to use Subway and lend us her Metro Card going to Universal Studio 👍. She deserves recognition and perhaps an increase 😉. Thanks for the card. Tip, make sure to ask her how to use subway going to different parts of LA if you hate traffic and her metro card. Just load it again and be generous 😎thanks Melissa. ❤️

The LA Athletic Club just became my new favorite place to stay in Los Angeles. It has everything: an updated classic vibe, multiple dining options, fantastic fitness classes, and impressive gym amenities. The covered parking made everything easy, and the room was one of the largest I've ever had in L.A. It was the perfect place for a bestie getaway, close to downtown event area and relaxing spot to have a good visit. The front desk staff was absolutely outstanding. Friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. I'll definitely be back.

Here is a breakdown of the issues: Terrible Security & Check-In: Upon arrival, he was left standing outside ringing the doorbell for 10 minutes before anyone let him in. To make matters worse, his room key card immediately failed to work. Subpar Room Conditions: The entire wing smelled strongly of mold, the bathroom was gross, and the toilet ran continuously. Furthermore, the hotel's Wi-Fi was so unsecure that his computer’s security settings blocked him from even connecting to it. Constant Noise Disruption: His room was located directly above the gym facility, and the loud, jarring buzzer from downstairs blasted through the floor constantly. Abysmal Service & Amenities: There is no coffee provided in the room. When he went down to the 3rd-floor cafe at 9:00 AM on a Friday, there was only a single, overwhelmed employee working the counter. Uncomfortable Atmosphere: The property has a bizarre, unsettling vibe. On multiple occasions at different times, other guests would board the elevator and immediately start hyperventilating/wheezing, which felt less like a hospitality experience and more like the start of a horror movie. This place is entirely not worth the trek or the money. Avoid it.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a genuinely relaxing experience, but the standout feature was the sauna, steam and jacuzzi.

Amazing love this place

was a bit dated (I understand it’s a historic building). We enjoyed our stay very much and hope to be back.

The location is brilliant. It's in the heart of the city centre, but the problem is there are a lot of homeless people all around the city centre. Otherwise, it's a great location to be, and the rooms are reasonably sized. They have a certain old-world charm, but I enjoyed staying there. The breakfast was brilliant.

Great gym, swimming pool and overall historic property.

I have stayed at this hotel numerous times, and it never fails to be accommodating and a great place to stay downtown. The staff is great.

Loved our stay, staff was amazing and very helpful. Our was clean and good size , bigger then other DTLA hotels we gave stayed in. Will definitely be back , oh and the gym was huge and i love all the equipment.
-
Amazing room. Would definitely comeback the staff was very helpful and answered all of our questions. The room was big and as luxurious as the pictures. Yes the bathrooms look dated but everything works so no real complaints there. I am already planning when I can come back and stay here.

Otherwise the place is great. Clean. Nice location. Easy parking for a reasonable fee. And wonderful gym.
-
Great front desk and restaurant team, very responsive, helpful and quick to get what you need.

If you need to be in DTLA, this is a great place to stay. We had a big group and the amenities were great for meeting up to sit with a coffee, a drink or to have a meal. My only complaints are that the bathrooms were dated (although clean) and the rooms were dark (so hard to put makeup on). I would still highly recommend and I would stay there again.
