Property was nice. Room was very roomy. We will be back.
-
Beautiful rooms. Very clean and well maintained.

By far the worst experience I’ve ever had traveling. We got basically kicked out in the middle of our stay because Marriott and sonders licensing agreement ended so they gave us less than 24 hours to leave the premises since they couldn’t honor the rest of our stay. Ridiculous and will never return to property run by sonder or marriott
-
the access code and keypads were not great. Using the phone to access was definitely the way to go.

I booked Sonder The Craftsman Hotel for Nov9-Nov11 and done online reservation check-in 2 days before stay and then started trip. When we arrived for check-in after long travel, the hotel mentioned that they are sold to Marriot Group and cancelled all reservations and sent mail notice only on same day. This is breaching the contract and they should have atleast allowed stay for check-in confirmed reservations. We struggled with kid in the street and no one picked from both Marriot and Expedia even after longer wait times. We had a worst experience by booking into hotel which doesn’t follow any basic customer wellness requirement and not sending cancellation in advance of atleast a week of stay to plan alternative

Yes the room was spotless, and staff very helpful
-
Staff were unhelpful & uninterested
-
We asked for an extra blanket 4 times before we got one. The area is a bit rough and very noisy
-
Great apartment space. Clean and modern amenities. The central downtown location was a great base for us. All the staff were friendly and helpful when needed. We were also able to store our bags after checkout for a few hours before we had to make our way to the airport.
-
This place i think it is incredibly worth for the value you get and it very spacious and delivers life as well. Easily I will note this place for future reference

The facility itself is a good value for money. The apartment I booked was spacious and comfortable; housekeeping did a great job every day. I particularly appreciated the complimentary items in the kitchen. Though location is central, it is not the most optimal for safety or proximity to sights. I did not feel safe walking in the immediate surroundings of the hotel since the downtown area seems quite troubled and rundown.

I liked everything! But sleeping here was difficult because of the noisy Downton in LA at night. There is not much that the hotel can do for remediating it. That's why I think it was a very good stay overall.

The hotel itself was nice. However, house keeping would say they would clean after we leave the hotel but once we would return, the only thing they would do it put fresh towels in the restroom. The bed was never made the trash wasn’t taken out. Also a big thing that was not disclosed when booking was we had to find our own parking. And the parking lot next to the hotel would charge $50 for overnight. That’s an additional $300 just to park near the hotel. Another thing was the front reception was not very helpful at all. We asked for late check out and she acted like she had no clue what that was and had we call the service line.
-
The front desk and security team were wonderful! We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff who went out of their way to offer great tips on local dining and safety. The rooms were perfectly sized and well-equipped with everything we needed. My only suggestion would be to include a few basic kitchen essentials—such as salt, pepper, and cooking oil—to make the stay even more convenient.

Very easy access to everything you need to enjoy your stay. Very secure and great staff. The keypad to enter the elevator. Make it card access or some other way to use it.
