Hotel could not find reservation. When they did they provided the wrong room. Tried to convince us to take another room. Eventually told us they didnt have the room we reserved. The "hotel" is actually a long stay motel. Its dirty and dingy. Front desk person was not knowledgeable and smelled like weed. Avoid this place! We left and did not stay

Ran out of Hot water for 2 1/2 days, I left a day before, not a place I would recommend!!

Not what we expected but we made the best of it.

Very shady

No one at the front desk most of the time. Had to go looking for a bath towels, cause they were none in the room, advertise continental breakfast except they were locked up tight during the morning hours no one in the office no one in the breakfast area.

It was a last minute choice for a stay overnight rather than drive 2 hours back home after a concert. Typical of a older hotel/ motel exterior in this town, lobby looked decent but attendant was obviously high as its a 420 friendly establishment could be expected. If i had known it was also a weekly/monthly type place id have passed on staying. Room had been redone with laminate floor/ or vinyl plank didnt look that closely. Trash was still in the can from previous guest. They had to run up tonseenif the room was ready or not and apparently not. Bed was made, no headboard, no outlets near bed for phones, had an older bedspread, top shert and fitted sheet thats it. 3 pillows with two barely making up one normal sized pillow. No extra pillows or blankets in the room. Bed was hard and had a vinyl protector over mattress. Sheets looked like they went to walmart to get them as did shower curtain, mat and towels. Towels were tiny. Sink was clogged. TV remote only worked once you turned the tv on at the tv and had to turn it off at the tv. Was definitely a room built for long termers. Was quiet however and conveniently located to Manitou down town. A place I would have not thought twice about as a 20 something but at 50 definitely were better options for the price. They do have a pool and looked like new hottub for any summer stays.

Convenient for distance to event we were in town for, and only hotel with available king bed at time of booking. Had what we needed but that’s about it. Bed wasn’t comfortable, and was missing a top sheet, pillows were extremely flat. Did have a tv, and mini fridge. Again. Worked for what we used it for, and was extremely affordable. You get what you pay for. We did not use the breakfast, so no comment on that.

You do not want to stay here. “No Smoking” signs everywhere, but staff was smoking right in front of one. Entire building smelled of stale smoke. Smoke detector was missing with loose wires hanging from the mount. Trash can had previous occupants trash. I emptied it and asked for a fresh trash bag. Two people said they would bring one, but it never arrived in two days. Bathroom door was falling from the hinges due to wood drywall screws being used to hold the hinges in the metal frame. Fire exit signage I the room was covered with stickers, but the exit from the building was just to the right of our door. The card reader outside that exit door for re-entry was missing with loose wires hanging. Bedding and towels were a mix of rather old, worn out items. The bed was not made up when we arrived in the room, and when someone came to make it, it was the handy man for the property and it was so sloppy we re-made it so the sheets would stay on. There were only three electrical outlets, and one had the TV plugged in, one had the lamp by the bed plugged in, and one had the air conditioned plugged in. Couldn’t charge my phone or computer and sit to use it. The “breakfast was pre-bagged stuff to put in a toaster that was there. On a good note, the coffee was good and the AC unit worked okay but was pretty noisy. “Dump” is overstating this lodge.

So... this is really a glorified motel. The Expedia ad said that it would have room service, a spa, etc. Not a chance unless you consider Uber Eats room service. Our room had stained comforters and furniture that was well worn and broke down. We had one bed that was basically a box spring on the floor and was a full 9 inches lower than the other queen bed. My wife and I came out for our 21st anniversary. I am going to owe her a new aniversary trip. The staff were very helpful and polite- however the "hotel" is not run by professionals. If you have heard the term "lip stick on a pig"- that is what comes to mind. Had the price been in line with this, I could have worked with it- but in retrospect- should have stayed at a Holiday Inn or Home2 or any other chain. I like to support the independents- but this time was a bust. HOWEVER- I do credit the staff- they are trying to make the best out of what they have to work with- they are just not Hospitality Specialist. I travel too much to pay a premium for a well below average facility. My hope is that the owners will find a way to correctly represent what they have on Expedia and other travel sites- Buyer beware. Not like the picutres or as described.

Staff was very nice, the rooms are clean and close to down town. We will visit again

They overbooked the hotel and didn't have a bed for my kids. The air conditioning was broken in August.
-
The entire property smelt like stale cigarettes. I had to ask for clean bedding as ours appeared to have a large blood stain on it. Twice I almost left to go to another place. Had we not only been staying one night and passing through, we would have left.
-
Check in was horrible we were charged 10 dollars more than what we reserved the room itself was ok bed was comfortable water pressure was so so couldn't understand what the guy checking us in was saying cuz he was talking so low
-
Staff was nice. Good updates on pool area and lobby area. Rooms could use a bit of a remodel and the dilapidated structure from our window view was not appealing to say the least. Not their fault probably but the City should set in and advise.
-
This is waste place and created issues to check in
-
Staff were very friendly. Unfortunately, the property doesn’t look anything like the pictures and is outdated in several areas. Beds were uneven and missing box springs.
-
It was clean, the staff was friendly. It is not the newest property, but it was clean and we liked having a fridge and microwave in our room. The staff went above and beyond to satisfy our needs.

Any issues I had were resolved on my stay. On day 10 of our 14 day road trip and the beds got me my best nights of sleep. The ac worked good. Nice little pool area. It’s an older place just like a lot of the other stuff on this side of town but it’s a mile from so many things. Definitely recommend

One of the front desk employees had smoked pot, the area smelled of it. Front desk said if I needed anything, he was right next door and I could just knock on his door! They put us in a basement level room that was dingy, needed updating, the beds were old and not the same size. The decor was shabby. Found a spider in the tub. The place felt uncomfortable, and the front desk guy creeped me out. Kids and i went to the car, and left…we got a room at a “chain” hotel.
