Hampton Inn Marion

At the time of check in, we were asked if we had a pet and we said NO. We were tired from our travel and went to the room for a good night sleep. I mentioned to my wife about some smell and she said it might be from cleaning. Next morning when we woke with smell and noice of dogs in the hallway, we realized that we were given pet friendly room on the second floor that is only for those who have pets. The size of the dogs was no limit and the noice in early morning was too loud. So much for asking if we had a pet!!!

Staff were helpful and attentive. Hotel itself was a bit worn and had a bit of a musty smell about it. Nothing serious, just not quite as nice as a typical Hampton Inn.

Our experience at this hotel was great.

Great Location. Desk attendant was not on duty upon arrival. Not sure if there was an emergency or shift change, but I waited about 15 minutes in the lobby for someone to arrive. Other than that, breakfast was ok, not fantastic for me, but grandkids like the items available. Lots of parking. Felt safe. Looks newly renovated from my last stay over 5 years ago. Not far from Interstate, but far enough that you won't hear traffic all night, as long as TV stays on. Did interact with staff the next morning, and had no concerns. Take note: there are three other hotels within the immediate vicinity of the lobby. So if you arrive later in the night, you may have to park in one of those lots, which I saw other drivers doing. Facility was clean. I felt comfortable. Most restaurants and store were in West Memphis Arkansas, which was about a 10 minute drive. There were a few gas stations and restaurants located right around the hotel, but most others were in West Memphis. If you want a room facing front of hotel, choose an odd number. For the rear, choose an even number. There is some construction happening in the rear, but not sure if it's related to the Hampton Inn. All in all, I'd recommend.

Very nice staff. Breakfast was great. Coffee was really good. Try the cranberry juice, I couldn't quit drinking it and I don't drink cranberry juice. Lol. It was a very nice stay.

The accommodations where amazing. I picked the wrong room and they were able to help out in geeting the space we needed. I loved the staff and the breakfast buffet was the nest anywhere I have been. Planning to be back in July and i will be staying here.

Breakfast was ok

This property was wonderful to stay at. The breakfast was awesome - lots of option and fresh! The rooms we booked where great and very comfortable. The place was also quiet. We traveled with our dog for the first time and wasn't sure what to expect but the staff greeted us kindly and loved seeing our pup. Would stay here again for sure!
