Comfort Inn Memphis Downtown

This is a 15 story building that only had 1 functional elevator the day we were there. They should have a contract with a elevator repair company to get them repaired. This caused a lot of waiting for elevators when you are on the 14th floor.

It's a nice location. One of the only 2 elevators were broken creating long waits. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was not good at all.

Walking distance to the Cannon Theater, restaurants. Excellent hot breakfast each morning: eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, assorted juices, waffles, etc. Convenient, free parking. Good, firm bed.

The location is very well located walking distance to downtown locations like the baseball stadium, Beale Street, Withers Gallery. The staff were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with many options each morning. We asked for a view of the Mississippi and got a room on the 10th floor with a fantastic view! Would definitely stay again. Parking is underground and easy to come and go with your room key.

The location of the hotel was perfect for the week we spent at the Cannon center. The underground parking was tremendously convenient, being able to get out of your car and take an elevator up to the floor, where your room was. The breakfast was really good – but there was no variation at all. It was essentially exactly the same each day. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. We rate this hotel very highly.

Convenient location, friendly staff, great room with special view

It was what I was looking for in any hotel, but the shower was outstanding. I have never stayed in a hotel that had the water pressure this one did! I could have stayed in the shower for an hour (I didn't) but I was tempted to. felt beater than any I've ever had.

Very clean. Spacious room with king bed. Very quiet. Underground parking. Full breakfast - eggs, meats, breads, cereal, waffles, etc. Nice breakfast room. Friendly and helpful staff.

Staff was awesome, location excellent and everything was fine considering the price. However, just letting fellow travellers know the place is a little run down and the WIFI was not up to par (continually unlogging our devices requiring multiple logins everyday. Also, the hotel and area are a bit noisy (some rude people in the hall late night, train rolling by with the horn going at 5:30AM-not faulting hotel or staff on this, just an FYI).

Charge for parking. Older facility but kept up. Rooms clean. No issues. Would stay again.

I will never stay at this hotel again and strongly advise anyone else—especially families—to look elsewhere. Safety & Location Concerns: The location is terrible and felt entirely unsafe for a family. The hotel lobby frequently had non-guests coming in to ask for the restroom, and the rooftop pool was packed with people who were bit wearing wristbands. Awful Service: The breakfast attendant was incredibly rude. She actually scolded my children for "taking too much food," but then turned right around and told a solo traveler to "take as much as you want, sweetie." We were explicitly made to feel unwanted and unappreciated as paying guests. Constant Noise: It is impossible to sleep here. There were cars racing around the area all night with absolutely no police presence to control it. The only positive aspect of this entire experience was the General Manager, who took the time to hear out our complaints and made things right on the billing end. Still, a helpful manager doesn't change the fact that this property is not fit for families. Avoid this place.

Easy in and out parking.

It was a very nice hotel, right on the River in downtown Memphis. The staff was great. Parking in the private parking garage was a nice bonus. The hotel had a baby cribs we could use free of charge as well! We would definitely stay again.

Nice rooms Clean Great location, walkable to Beale Street Hotel shuttle bus into town a bonus!

Ask for a room facing the river. Pretty view of bridge. Lobby area looked tired and dated. Parking was easy.

The hotel staff was very nice and accommodating.

We always come at 8am,but both time, they don't refill bacon. Staff not friendly at all.

The rooms were nice and clean but the bathroom water pressure was horrible.

Helpful and friendly staff, good variety for breakfast, excellent location to the sites and attractions of Memphis.
