Well I had no idea I was paying two hundred ten dollars with breakfast witch is the best part but I had no idea I’d be paying to stay in a coast guard barracks with guards on duty and a lobby full of safety meetings and stuff but it was ok besides that I guess

They “accidentally” over charged my room by $200. I’m sure if I wouldn’t have noticed they would have never corrected it. Very short staffed. Rooms are clean but run down and in need of updates.

We didn’t actually stay at the Crown Plaza. The National Guard took over the hotel so we were moved to the LaQuinta Inn. It was very nice once they fixed a shower problem. They even shuttled us back and forth to the Crown Plaza for our breakfast we prepaid for.

Great customer service, I look forward to coming back. The deposit was a shock so be prepared i think it was like 100 pre night

My reservation was canceled by the hotel due to overbooking. Worse yet, they lied to me upon checking-in claiming that “it was cancelled by Expedia”. They then offered me a “free” stay at another, their “sister hotel”; but after dropping me and my family there, they wanted to charge me for the stay. So another lie. I had to stay for one night there because it was late and inconvenient to find an alternative. Very disappointed by the way the Crown Plaza manager treated me with her super ego (refuse to listen), no apology (blame on Expedia instead), and many lies along the way……Not a truth worthy admin team here right now; Hope things get changed in the future.

They were mostly focused on the huge amount of Bational Guard soldiers. It reminded me of my Army days, except the Army didn't pay for a prime? accomodation.

It was only adequate. Not what I expected from a Crown property. They were mostly focused on the huge amount of Bational Guard soldiers. It reminded me of my Army days, except the Army didn't pay for a prime? accomodation.

I am writing to request a refund or compensation in the form of points due to several issues I experienced during my recent stay. When I arrived on Thursday in the pouring rain—after multiple delayed flights—the shuttle driver was extremely rude to the couple dropping me off under the covered drive. He became visibly impatient as I gathered my belongings and made sure I had everything, which created an uncomfortable and unwelcoming start to my stay. At check-in, the front desk associate went on at length about the breakfast served at the hotel. Only later did I discover that it was not complimentary, which felt misleading and added to an already frustrating arrival. When I got to my room, I attempted to use the restroom but couldn’t because the toilet chain was broken. Maintenance was initially sent to the wrong room because the front desk didn’t verify my room number, causing further delay. Later that evening, when I tried to take a bath, I discovered there was no hot water. On Friday, I received a text message asking what could make my stay better. I responded, but I never received a reply or acknowledgment. This lack of follow-through and communication was disappointing. Overall, the service and condition of the property did not match the price I paid. The experience felt comparable to a much lower-tier hotel, and certainly not what I expected during such an important weekend as the St. Jude Marathon.

Do not stay here! It would be better to live in a tent. We left early.
