Wingate by Wyndham Myrtle Beach At Outlets

This woman at the front desk on Saturday was very rude.

This was just a quick one night stay as we unexpectedly drove straight through from New York to Myrtle Beach instead of stopping off, so we needed a place to stay for the night until we could check into our condo for the week. This place was beautiful, clean, the staff was great, super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included. Has a nice little pool, but we didn’t have time to check it out.

They had no body wash in the shower only small bars of soap. One of the lights by the bed wasn't working. They eventually fixed it after a complaint. The phone in the room did not work.

Moldy, chemical smell or something. Had to leave before we even spent the night becuase we could not stay in it, our throats were hurting and still are a day later. Stuff was not unkind but not very helpful.

The staff was very unhelpful with my room. The tv was old and wasn't a SMART tv so I couldn't connect to watch a main event. The noise in the hotel was so loud with kids running around until very late, knocking on doors. I had a family emergency and needed to check out early, and they were not accommodating at all. I would never stay at this property or recommend it to anyone.

Overall the stay was great, the staff was wonderful, we stayed during the NY Knick final game and was able to watch it in the lobby, some guess where bother by the noise but it was a championship game and they should have been more understanding. The night staff had it under control and it was not loud.

The soap dispenser was empty. The door frame is not lined properly. People could see inside the room (101). To expensive for a Friday night.

Location of hotel was great. Easy on, easy off. Plenty of food and shops in the area. Close to Myrtle beach and Coastal Carolina University. Hotel was ok. Check in was a mess, gave us a room that had people sleeping in it! Ultimately received a different room. Bathroom was updated recently and nice. Beds were very firm and typical hotel beds. It worked for what we needed, but I doubt I'd stay again.

Tried to check in at 2:30 and front staff on personal calls told us to come back at 3 was too early. Will not be back, to many other hotels in area.

The lights in the room didn’t not work. The shower gel was empty in the shower and Jo hand soap in lotion is the bathroom dispensers. I would l no recommend staying at this hotels

Never in my life have I heard of a hotel pool opening at 10 am and closing at 7 PM. Yes you read that right. 7 PM.

To start on a positive note, all the staff members at this facility were very friendly and welcoming from check in to check out, and parking was easy. There have been updates throughout the facility, but I was very disappointed with the cleanliness of our room. There were clumps of hair on the floor throughout our bathroom and clumps of hair folded into the towels and wash cloths. We didn’t have any hand soap or body wash in our bathroom; fortunately we brought our own. The photos I saw when booking had a tub shower in the bathroom but our room had a stand alone shower which was inconvenient with a 1-year-old.Though this hotel was cheaper than many others in the area, I don’t feel the stay was worth the what I paid.
