Sleep Inn Naperville - Chicago

While the housekeeping staff (when they were there) and the breakfast staff was helpful, the front desk staff could have done more. When my friend and I requested housekeeping after our third night, the front desk staff told us we needed to wait another day, the day before we were leaving. We had to ask for fresh towels, toilet paper and trash bags. This place is good for an overnight stay and that's about it. I think the money saving strategy is to not provide housekeeping until you've checked out.

Breakfast was good

Squeaky and small beds. Promised to get a queen bed but was offered only double beds which was not comfortable for two adults. Bathrooms were very small and no lock or latch. Very hard bed and pillows had a terrible night with disturbed sleep. AC was not functioning in the middle of the night.

I never write bad reviews but this place we will not stay at again. It was a place to sleep and that’s it. Even that was uncomfortable with the cleanliness, outdated room and smell. We stayed two nights and noticed one of the outlets stopped working… old candy and food in between the beds from previous people who stayed in the room, we had half a toilet paper left and no replacements, the shower was leaking since the strip was peeling off so it wasn’t sealed properly, the toilet seat was dirty and missing a toilet cap, the carpet and air was moist, the beds were crooked on the bed frames so we not only had to pull down the dirty sheets but we had to correct the structure of the bed to sleep, the bed sheet had a blood stain on it with a sheet put on top of it, the staff was silent and didn’t welcome us in. It was odd. We stayed here because it was slightly cheaper then other hotels around and the photos are VERY deceiving from what we got…but we’ve learned our lesson.

Bed comfortable, staff helpful, breakfast was simple but good with fresh fruit, cereal, eggs, waffles...

Old dirty run down and it smells terrible. I did not shower while I was at this hotel stayed one night because I didn’t have a choice and left early the next morning. This place is filthy, I am surprised it’s even located in Naperville. Beware do not stay here!

We checked in and since we were going to be there a while we had some real unpacking to do. While unpacking we noticed their was zero cable guide available on the cable service or written on a cheat sheet. So the channels were labeled 32.1, 8.6 ??? With zero navigation except going through every channel. We notified the manager and they said they would have the guide on our return. On our departure Sunday we received no relief. 1st night we took off our shoes and the carpet was soaked, the keys no longer functioned, the hallway smelled like a pot growing factory, the faucet would not stop running, and the carpeting was frazzled and in disrepair and the room smelled moldy. We told management all of these items and so far heard nothing! We left the ac on while we toured Chicago on full blast and helped with the smell. No other rooms were available plus they never cleaned the room. They said they clean on Thursdays and Mondays. I asked what day it was and the manager said Thursday! OK why wasn't the room cleaned and all the other issues addressed since it's Thursday? They promised to comp us and get in touch and have not heard a word. I will leave a review on social media platforms if they continue to not address the situation.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Smells fresh and clean when you walk in.

Staff was nice but the room was definitely below average. The bathroom light was flickering when we got there.

Old property renovated, rooms are clean, but not the nicest, perk is having a jet tub in the bathroom of certain rooms, which is why I stayed there. Front desk person was rude, but they have free breakfast.

Very good stay overall

My hotel room did not seem like it had been fully cleaned. There was still hair in the shower and bathtub. There were only two lamps that barely brought any light to the room, which resulted to me also using my flashlight on my phone with the two lamps on so i could somewhat see. When checking into the hotel, the worker failed to explain where my room was located and left me to find it on my own. There was also a distinct smell in the hallways and not in a good way. The toilet also barely seemed to work and almost made a screeching like sound when flushing it. This was my first time getting a hotel on my own as a young adult and it definitely disappointed me.

The room reminded me of a dorm room. Sink didn’t drain. Shower leaked on the floor. Elevator was out of service. Very poorly maintained facility.

windows, clean. didnt say anything about breakfast. came down for breakfast at 9 and it was closed..

I realize that it is impossible to see that a carpet is wet or damp when rooms are cleaned.
