Arlo Midtown

The hotel itself was ok the rooms were very small the amenities in the rooms were horrible the refrigerator was very tiny there was no microwave not even in the hotel itself to rewarm food. We weren’t checked in until way after three because our room wasn’t ready which was a big inconvenience for us due to us needing to be checked in by check in time the hotel was ok but I wouldn’t stay here again

Clean hotel and basic amenities are there. However, parking is falsely advertised. Discount is also falsely advertised. It is not on site hotel parking and is third party. The parking lot attendants will claim the lot is full although it is not, then quote a much higher price of $95 per day to park. Talking to the hotel staff is useless because their “discount” won’t exist anymore at checkout time. You get two cans of water per day which is barely sufficient. Everything else is paid including coffee. The Arlo rooftop restaurant attendant was extremely rude, disrespectful, and showed us a lot of attitude for asking about reservations and availability. They are also EXTREMELY understaffed with cleaners. Room cleaning doesn’t happen till 5pm at times. The cleaners are kind and understanding however and clean at request. Overall, the place is clean, and it’s livable but I have no idea how it’s rated as a 4-store hotel. It’s 3 stars at BEST.

Clean and modern hotel, very quiet and good location. Very well designed both in the room and the overall facility - including things like 5 elevators that are automatically assigned when you swipe your room key for quick service. Good selection of food and drinks from a variety of cafes and restaurants inside the hotel.

Hotel bed was super comfortable and the room was very peaceful with nice views from the 12th floor. We had breakfast there as well and it was excellent.

Everything! Food and drinks are excellent. Right off the Lincoln tunnel.

Very clean, small rooms, well appointed. Great lobby bar, excellent service, very friendly. Roof bar was a different experience- rude, poor service.

The rooms are designed to make every space count as NYC rooms are notoriously small. This one felt spacious despite the square footage. Can't wait to check out some other Arlo properties.

Great location , close to many NYC sights. Felt like a het away in the middle of the city.

Pros- beautiful views from the rooftop terrace on the top floor Hotel on a quieter side street Lobby cafe conveniently open from 6:30 to 11 for drinks and water with friendly service Window seat for deep thoughts in the room Beautifully designed hotel and furnishings Shampoo, conditioner, body wash from Pharmacopia Room darkening shades and bed reading lights very nice Needs improvement - hallway carpets should be deep cleaned We had fitted sheets with a few holes in them Pillows are lumpy and should be updated The additional resort charge includes the gym and Citibike access but some signs in the room about how to take advantage would have been helpful. In summary, We would stay here again!

The staff at ARLO are thoughtful and patient. The hotel is beautifully furnished and in a great location. Would definitely recommend this hotel and it is now my 'go to' hotel in Manhattan.
