Comfortable beds. Great bathrooms. What could be better: carpeted floors, comfortable chair.

One of the highlights of our stay was the breakfast. There was a great variety of fresh and delicious options, with something for everyone. We truly enjoyed every aspect of our experience and have been sharing our positive memories with friends and family. I would gladly stay at RIU Plaza Times Square again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting New York. It was a memorable experience, and I look forward to returning on my next trip to the city.

Cerca de pequeños restaurantes muy lindos. Un poco lejos del subway.

Breakfast was included, but the quality of most dishes wasn’t great. Plus, it’s super crowded so it’s hard to feel like you have any personal space. It was hard to sleep at night because of how cold the building was. The bed in the room just came with a super thin sheet. The coffee machine in the room didn’t work either. The elevator was the most annoying part. It took several tries to get moving when I inserted my room card. Some of the people working at the reception desk need more training in how to deal with customers. Service with a smile helps.

This was the worst hotel I have ever stayed at. First of all this is not a four star hotel it needs a major make over. Rooms are run down and old. Didn’t sleep at all the first night because the air conditioning wasn’t working. When I spoke to the hotel supervisor he wouldn’t do anything didn’t care all he did was have maintenance come fix it and it turns out the filter had never been changed. The breakfast included was ok at best. Staff was mostly rude except for the front desk manager. The location is good but nothing else. Also the beds were harder than a board.

I loved the full breakfast and the location of the Hotel. It was 1 or 2 mins walk to Time Square.

Rooms are simple but very clean and stocked well (plenty of full size towels!). Breakfast buffet was great to start day fully charged with food and good coffee. Staff always available quickly to help out. Highly recommend!
-
The staff were not helpful or welcoming, and the overall service was poor. The breakfast quality was disappointing, and the hotel cleanliness was below standard. The room did not feel fresh, and there was an unpleasant smell instead of the clean and pleasant atmosphere expected when entering a hotel. Several facilities in the room were also not working properly. The hair dryer did not work, and the bathroom power outlets were not functional, which was very inconvenient. Considering the reputation and price of this hotel, I expected much better service, cleanliness, and attention to detail. I would not recommend this hotel and hope management takes these issues seriously and improves the guest experience.

The breakfast was great. The location was awesome. Check in was smooth and easy. Our hotel was VERY clean. Our beds were practically touching. The room was smaller than I thought and it had no drawers to unpack my suitcase. We also tried eating in the lobby and were told to go outside. We went to the outside table and then told we couldn’t eat at the table.

Convenient location; walking distance to Broadway theater district, tourist sites, restaurants, public transit and more. Very clean and welcoming; professional staff. Bathroom and shower are walled in with frosted glass. If traveling with family, leave the bathroom light off when showering. If left on, the result is a burlesque show of a person showering.

Great location. Great breakfast and staff.

Staff were all very kind. Front desk was accommodating and got us into our room early, which is very helpful when traveling with children. Breakfast had great variety and the restaurant staff went out of their way to engage with the kids. We would definitely stay again!

ROOMS WERE CLEAN. ROOMS ARE TINY. 3PM CHECK IN TIME WAS NOT HONERED AND LOBBY WAS FULL OF FRUSTRATED GUESTS WAITING ON ROOMS. FRONT DESK KEPT SAYING THE ROOMS WERE NOT CLEANED YET AND WERE ASKING THE GUESTS TO GO WALK AROUND AND RETURN LATER.

Good location, big breakfast buffet that was decent, loved happy hour at the bar. The hall way to the room seemed a little dirty or musty to us and the room was pretty decent but the shower drain seemed clogged as it drained slowly and it was kinda awkward taking a shower because the toilet and shower is surrounded by frosted glass and when your showering everyone in the room gets a shadow show of you showering. I guess that’s ok for couples but if you are there with a family or friends then it is different level. lol but all in all we enjoyed it and we would stay again
