Extended Stay America Suites Charleston Northwoods Blvd

When I went to check in, no one was at the front desk. When the staff fundamentals arrived, he was not friendly or helpful. The room looked clean until I saw cockroaches. I was disgusted!

Upon arrival and getting check in my room easy not clean. After telling the staff, I was given another that was upgraded and it was clean.

Very run down (holes in walls, bugs, bright overhead lights)

Overwhelming smell of air freshener in the hallway. Original room that was given to us smelled like cigarette smoke, but was corrected by the staff.

When I arrive at the hotel first thing I saw was man outside drinking and hanging out, when I went in the strong smell of animals The front man Sam was nice and showed me the room and it was ok until I went in after check in the bed comfort was dirty, I don’t know how was on top of us but you could here every feet step they took the crying and scares of kids I did ask to check out the day and get refunded the rest of the days and they allowed me to

The only thing that I had a problem with was the AC it was down, but there was willing to move me to another room and take care of it so I really can’t say that it was a bad state. It was a very good day. I recommend that want to go to.

No amenities available. The breakfast is just coffee no option. They don't clean the room everyday

Very dirty, the hall carpets were matted and a bit moldy looking. Looked like the room was in the middle of a renovation, walls had been patched in multiple places but not re-painted, bathroom partly caulked, etc. The side hallway door did not close/lock properly, people kept leaving it open and rain was blowing in (as well as allowing entry without key-card). People (homeless?) were "partying" in parking lot, both alcohol and drug use - did not feel safe, saw staff walk by and apparently ignore.

Inside did not look how the pictures were on the website . Floors were distrusting ! Kids socks were black on bottom after 20 minutes . Roaches started to appear on day 3 out of nowhere. The staff was pretty nice no complaints about them. Wouldn't recommend for a long term stay but if you need somewhere to rest for a day for the low then that'll be the place to go.
