La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham Savannah Airport - Pooler

Although generally clean, the smell of bleach in the room was overwhelming. Even with that, the ac unit smelled so bad. Sleep was not possible. Not worth half the price. Not recommended. The neighborhood is also sketchy. Much better one exit to the north.

The check in lady is really in the wrong job. Zero personality. The first floor carpet needs replacing in the hallways. Other than that the hotel is decent, well maintained, rooms were clean. Coffee was quite good. Could use Stevia as a sweetener. New staff and carpet would put this one notch below a newer Marrriott or Hilton express property.

I had to promise to not let my little 10 dog up on the bed with me. He wasn’t happy about sleeping in the floor.

The general manager customer service was very excellent!!! The breakfast was ok it was free so that’s a plus. I would stay here again

Clean room, good air-conditioned, good staff. Property needs upgrades. Carpet! Facilities, parking lot. Good location

Asked for a pack-n-play but hotel staff had no idea what I needed. Wasn’t there for me. Had a baby I. My bed l night and got no sleep. Very unhappy.

One other thing, there are many newer, modern and less expensive hotels popping up. Most are just find. One bugagoo is having the microwave at knee level which is ridiculous, given the number of senior who travel. Between getting your food or drink in, setting the timer is a challenge at times.

The front desk attendant made it seem like we were bothering her.

They offered, via Wyndham, a free late check out. When it came time for the late portion to kick in, they told me they will not honor it, and that I must pay to stay later. They called the police on me, and had at least 5 officers show up to escort me from the property. What’s more, calling Wyndham meant nothing. They said all policies are run by the property, and were very rude about it. The property says they never offered a late check out, and were very rude about it. The police were the nicest party I dealt with, surprisingly. I tried to talk to management, but refused to reach out. Just sent police. If you go against greater wisdom and stay, don’t think that late check out applies. They are apparently free to do as they wish unchecked.

Breakfast was ok bed was comfortable Pool wasn't clean and hot tub didn't work at all. Room needed minor repairs...broken hinge on door in front of fridge, trim ring missing on sprinkler head, light didn't work on night stand. Also smelled Marijuana in hall and elevator and out by pool area

The deluxe king room with the sofa was a very spacious size. The bed was extremely comfortable. The fitted sheet was loose and large and slightly uncomfortable. We were missing the TV from the sitting area so difficult to watch the TV in the bed area from the couch. The lighting in the room was very dim even with the available lights turned on.

Hotel conveniently located to 95 and has a Wendy's right nearby you can walk next to parking lot. Rooms nice and clean. Breakfast was decent- not the best La Quinta breakfast, but fine. They charged for dog but reasonable $25 plus tax which is their stated price. But they had me sign a weird statement that dogs can't go on the furniture etc. Never encountered something like that at any La Quinta or dog-friendly hotel so I probably wouldn't stay there again. Also, a lot of trash outside in lawn area and parking lot that should be picked up more often.

Well, when rules are posted everywhere for anything and everything it just makes me feel like you are not customer friendly. but more corporate minded on profits. fees are charged on everything including fees for credit card usage.

There was no main line telephone in the room. The ironing board was broken. Additional parking spaces needed in the main front parking area.

Nice and convenient. Desk clerk generally unhappy.
