Very comfortable room with charm, excellent value, very good breakfast included and for the most part friendly staff. Check-in took over 40 minutes, but it was the Thursday prior to Carnaval. Lapa is a bit intense at night

The building is really outdated, the AC made a lot of noise & the system to check-in was taking forever.

The location to the lapa bar area was awesome! A few blocks up there is the vibrant restaurant and bar scence in lapa is was awesome!! Definitely awesome! The hot water in the sink didn't work. The shower hot water work. But not in the sink.

That bar just next door is a tad noisy all night. Saw people drinking almost all night till wee hours. Their sounds reaching my room at 4th floor. Can't get a sound sleep.

Reception staff was nice but slow. Breakfast is nice. The rooms are not cheap enough for what you get. The room we had did not look like the one we booked at all. It was much older and very tiny. With two suitcases it is not possible to walk freely. It was very old with paint peeling of the ceiling and the humidity leaving its mark on the walls. No one had cleaned besides the bed in a long time/ any spot you don’t see from afar. The window was so thin I could hear the ACs of all rooms/buildings next to us and did not get a night with good rest (similar to sleeping on a plane). Our lock broke every day and we had to get our card redone every single evening. The location is close (walking distance) to a lot of sights but be aware that after dark you can only arrive/leave by uber.

The people who work there are awesome, Thiago and Daniel’s that are the receptionists were so helpful, always kind and able to help, no doubt that my experience there was so much better thanks to them ? I’d definitely come back!

The location can be a little tricky for someone not used to the city and the traffic can get quite jammed often

Very clean, staff is very warm and very helpful, the hotel itself is very comfortable. Location is easy access to main areas like Flamengo beach. The night shift young man is so attentive and helpful . The day shift ladies are awesome Sure The tv channels are terrible . Not only there are no Chanel’s but the signal is bad . That’s a shame

Room was comfortable and good value, bathroom was clean. One of the guys at the front desk very kindly helped me bring my bags to my room which I really appreciated! Breakfast was subpar, fruit juice was disgusting. Unfortunately the staff working it were quite rude too - I'm not fluent in Portuguese, but I can understand when someone is being condescending towards me! Also think it's a little ridiculous that I wasn't allowed to arrange a later check-out by an hour.

good breakfast, good location (however Lapa for some will be considered as dangerous), silent room, reasonable price right after the carnival location is a bit dodgy, i felt safe but i know some might not feel the same

It was all right not staying longer

Ther location was ok The pool was too small The staff were very rude on the desk at night. 1 night I needed to let a friend have a quick shower/charge his phone the hotel desk 5 mons later came to my door with 3 men with HARD ATTITUDE. So never again Id stay there.
