The morning breakfast was great, the host was absolutely fantastic. He was personable and very easy to chat with. The regular cook had to leave to attend to something so the host stepped in and did his best on our made to order eggs! We woke early and there was no access to coffee, no coffee maker in the rooms. If you left your door open, even for a moment, an alarm would sound.

Our rooms were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. The staff were just wonderful, kind, caring and delightful. I would not hesitate to return. Walk down into the old town was an easy 20 minutes.

Breakfast was great , room very clean , tidy and comfortable , wonderful showe , parking is right outside , overall a good place , need to drive to get to the centre ...would book again , maybe a bit pricey compared to other places ... We arrived and no one was on reception , we didnt have access to mobile phones so had to get someone to call them to let us in, that was the only bad thing .

Hotel was wonderful- just a short walk to town. Amazing breakfast, including fresh made omelets. Host was so friendly and helpful. It was hard to leave!

The room had a heavy perfume smell when first arriving as I think someone before us must have smoked in the room. There were plenty of windows to air it out after a couple days.

The two all-rounders working in the establishment polite and helpful, but that is the only positive note. Bicycle service reported on the site and on booking non-existent, only a few rusty and non-functioning bicycles. This made the location extremely inconvenient forcing us to take the car every time we moved. Room with broken door handle, sewer smell coming from the bathroom, breakfast acceptable but not very varied and in the long run it gets boring. All in all not at all what one would expect from a 4-star hotel and the amount spent. We will not be returning.

It seems recently renovated and clean It has 3 free parking spots We received a long message when we booked the room that check in is until 10pm and if we arrive later than that we will be provided with instructions and a code to check in ourselves. I messaged the property on Booking.com but also sent text messages and whatsapp messages to the number provided in that initial message- nobody replied. I got no code or instructions. We arrived at the property at 11pm to find a note on the door saying to call a completely different phone number! Eventually we checked in, but they should either do what they say they’ll do (provide a code and instructions) or at least update the contact details and phone number in the message they send on Booking.com! Breakfast was quite poor, we only had a banana, an orange and a yogurt, everything else looked a bit off (maybe they’ve been sitting out in the heat for too long), we were asked if we wanted eggs, but we passed as the whole place didn’t inspire trust. It’s far from the town centre, not walking distance.
