We stopped here twice on our road trip to NY for a sleepover. It was very clean and the staff was friendly both times. It smelled good soon as you walked into the lobby. The food was actually perfect,nothing fancy but they definitely had protein both times. I got the deluxe room both times they were huge space wise. I was really surprised. Not far from Walmart and food areas either. I am very bougie and normally stay in 4-5star and even diamond level hotels. So for me to say this worth the little money I spent. I mean that.

The property is tired and very uncomfortable. The AC is inefficient and noisy. The breakfast is awful, few choices and the coffee is water. Stay away from this property!

Breakfast was nice. Staff was friendly. Had a little issue with hotels.com booking 2 rooms instead of 1. Not sure how that happened, but had to contact hotels.com to make sure I was not double charged.

Conveniently located off the highway so it's great for road trips. The check in/out process was very easy. A good sized room for the price as well. The walls are a bit on the thinner side so we were able to hear most talking, doors opening and closing, footsteps, etc. It wasn't unbearable though by any means.

We had a 1 night stay while traveling and found this La Quinta to meet our needs! Close to I-81, nice sized room with comfortable king bed, excellent breakfast in the morning, and near to Salem, VA, where we ate at Awful Arthur’s and enjoyed an excellent supper! Highly recommend!

At breakfast I made a coffee but there were not any sticks or anything to stir the coffee. When I got something to eat there was no plastic ware to use. The male worker in that area was off to the side on his phone. I usually stay at this location every time I travel in that area but I might start considering someplace else.
