Comfort Inn Sea World Area

very easy to find. staff was nice and made check in/out process easy. parking id say is decent, however at night it does tend to fill up. room was clean and bed was comfortable.

This is probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The staff is very friendly, no matter what you need and what time you’re reaching out to them. The breakfast was good. The location is great for anywhere you need to get to in San Diego.

This hotel has helpful and friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and linens, a decent shower, good breakfast selections, and a large parking area. The bathrooms and a few areas of the exterior building are showing signs of their age, but nothing terrible. The location of this property is fair to poor. The hotel is located in an older industrial area. At the back of the property, there are garbage and recycle vendors that start their days before 6 am. You do hear the noises from the trucks, at the back end of the hotel. A few streets away there are several restaurants (fast food and sit down for service) as well as a grocery store that we were happy to find. There is a Canes Chicken steps away from the hotel, which was convenient, especially later in the day, as you could just walk over and feel safe. There is not a pool or a gathering area other than the breakfast room which had lights out after the breakfast hours, so I assumed it was not to be used. This is not a hotel where you would have a place to hang out other than in your room. I enjoyed my stay. The hotel is 10 minutes from the San Diego airport.

Kept. Nice breakfast in the mornings. Close proximity to the beach, sea world, and shopping malls. Only complaint I had was the fridge in the room didn’t get cold and the A/C unit didn’t get cold either. When other guest around us used the shower it was a loud noise that came from the plumbing I assume.

Good location. Updated building with modern touches. Staff professional. Breakfast was fine. It was noisy. We could hear through the walls very easily. The shower for the room next door shared a wall with our room, next to the bed it seemed, and it was loud through the wall. The noise made it difficult to rest.

The property location is central to San Diego attractions. Love the breakfast as well.

Centrally located too many tourist spots. Wings are OK. That frame is easy to kick. Staff was very helpful, Raymond is very clean. Definitely like the smoking aspect.

It was quiet and clean. Love it.

At one point the toilet wouldn't flush and someone was there to replace the valve within 5 minutes. Less than a 20 minute drive to all the main attractions.

My only complaint is the parking space. Each spot is tiny and many guests parked over the line so I didn’t have space to park the first night. I had to park outside on the street.

This was a great hotel with very friendly and helpful front desk staff and cleaning staff. The breakfast has everything you could want. The location of the hotel was perfect for traveling to the beach or Sea World. No freeway travel necessary. The beds and pillows were comfortable. I travel to San Diego several times a year and this is my new go to place to stay. There are also plenty of restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance.

The check in was nice, but he stated that he was told that we had a Dog? I explained to him that we do not have a dog. I wanted to change room because he put us in the dog area and the hotel was full so we couldn’t change room. The room had ants and frig didn’t get cold . I told the clerk at the office several times and nothing happened.

This hotel is so nicely renovated! The rooms still feel brand new. The parking is free and feels relatively secure even though it's not fully gated. The area is a little rough but I felt safe. It's so nice to have a hot breakfast included, and their outside patio is very cute. I had my dog with me; they put all dogs on the ground floor, and our room was on the back with a grass yard outside and it was nice and quiet. There is a Raising Cane's next door and a very cute coffee shop and plant nursery a few blocks away. The location was convenient to the beach and not far from UCSD. I wish the refrigerator had a freezer section but otherwise it was almost perfect! The staff and management were all very friendly and helpful too. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is good there's a lot of food and shopping options, the staff was friendly and helpful, I didn't inspect the room but it looked clean, breakfast was good- eggs, sausage, breads, muffins, fruit, cereal and waffles, there's a laundry room on site, the only issue I came across was the wifi- I had to call the help support service to get connected the tech rep was nice and helpful and got the job done. Free parking is on site.
