Harborview Inn & Suites San Diego Harbor

The front desk was extremely friendly and super helpful to me with local recommendations and just all around good energy. The location is fantastic for being able to walk around instead of drive for shops and restaurants. I was pleasantly surprised by my easy nights sleep because even though it is right next to a freeway and nightlife, it was not loud at all! I would definitely stay again.

This was like no other hotel I’ve ever stayed at and not in a good way. It has an office rather than a lobby and my room because I have a Mobility Scooter was on the ground floor, but it was a different door, From the office and I had to keep asking somebody to hold open the door for me so I could get in with my scooter. The room was more like a small studio apartment. The bathtub faucet only activated the showerhead I couldn’t get it to fill the tub. Old towels and very little soap was provided. I do not recommend this hotel.

An absolutely terrible hotel. It is sweltering both in the building and in the rooms; the air conditioner is old, noisy, and ineffective. All the furniture is old and worn out. The room smelled awful. The windows face a noisy road, and planes fly overhead as they come in to land. I wouldn't wish the terrible experience I had at this hotel on anyone.

Clean room, staff and parking.

Location is good and the price is affordable. It smells like mold and sounds keep flowing from the window.

The location was very good and convienent to Little Italy, Seaport, the harbor etc. Gigi was very personable and one of the male staff came up to the room to reboot the television I asked for a room with a balcony and did not get it. We had consistent problems with the televison reception.This was very frustrating. The shower handle was difficult to pull as was the tub shower valve so the water did not fully come out. The hair dryer did not work and i needed to ask for one and then return it. The bottom sheet did not fit the bed. it kept coming off. The hallway carpet was old, worn and dirty. The elevator was very small, you had to wait if others were going down.

10/10 Everything was great.

Great location, free onsite parking Rooms are uncomfortable and loud. AC is unpredictable. Tap water smelled of metal. Bed, pillows, and sheets were uncomfortable. I’ve never seen pillows that cheap, not sure what they were made of. We left after the first night rather than have another sleepless night.

the rooms and property were just fine/a bit rundown, but the staff were incredibly kind and helpful! would recommend if you're looking to be downtown and near the airport. also - the only hotel in the area with free parking!

I like that it was close to the 5 freeway and airport. I like that it was close to food places. It was old and they kept the doors open that were to stay close. It smelt old in the rooms and the ice machine needs to be updated to a cleaner looking one. The walls are very thin to the point you can hear people beside you. The 2 room suite need to have other air unit in it.

It was a very nice but basic room. The room was immaculately clean, and the location of the hotel could not be beat! Great food a block away. The front desk lady was also very nice to work with. I will definitely consider this hotel again when I go back to San Diego in the fall.

Poor water pressure in the shower, people are super nice and helpful!

Major plus: price is much cheaper than the surrounding hotels. Only downside is the parking: parking situation is not great, lot is tiny and doesn't seem to have enough spaces but there also is free parking on the street about a 1-2min walk away from the hotel. Overall, it was worth it! If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely be booking to stay here again!

Great location with friendly staff. Building is on the shabby side but does have a fridge and microwave (2 upvotes) NO coffee maker (1 downvote) The towels desperately need replacing, they have the texture of a Scotch-brite pad.

Great location for little Italy and easy to locate.

I've stayed here 3 or 4 times now. Absolutely love the 1. Free parking. 2. Walking distance to Little Italy. 3. Proximity to Freeway, Airport, and Balboa Park. Also love fridge and microwave in unit. They upgraded the hotel since my last visit, so everything is more modern. They remodeled everything since my previous visit, so everything is more modern. I actually miss the historic look of what it used to be. But other than that, no complaints!
