Perfect location of downtown san Diego
-
Room was dated and there were stains on the floor and all over the bed sheets. Everything seemed like it was falling apart. Other than that, the location was amazing! Completely walkable and right in the heart of Little Italy! I know they’re closed for renovations now so hopefully when they reopen we can return and visit the updated property!

Perfect stay for me I enjoy the location

Bathroom was filthy, I bought sandals to use in the shower, and there was NO shower door or curtain. The lights in our room made loud electrical sounds all night. We had to park a few streets down. And 2 homeless people slept on the side walk RIGHT at the entrance which made it extremely uncomfortable and unsafe. The side walk smelled like straight piss and we saw rats everytime we went outside. I have never been so disgusted at a hotel until we stayed here. Never coming back.

Great hotel and great location!

Everything was great, Prime location and all .., but, Parking can be an issues tho. Parking lot across the street can become expensive and you have to be extremely lucky if you find street parking. Plan ahead with the Farmers’ Market schedule as well since they close off the street(s) in front of the Hotel.

parking was terrible, was not notified that the parking structure was under construction and street parking was far and expensive

The AC didn’t work and the room was dated and old. We found two roaches so left.
-
Parking structure was under renovation, which was unfortunate, but understandable. Stay was very nice and quiet despite the busy area.

The location was fantastic with restaurants right there. The piece was a bit pricey

We checked in and immediately checked out within the hour. The little blonde receptionist was rude and no helpful at all. We were under the impression that parking was an amenity here but the only parking available would be lots or street parking. All the lots the hotel suggested were full. The room is pathetic. It was so tight and crowded and was filthy;reeked of bleach. It was not worth the risk of staying one night.

That said, the hotel itself feels dated, and the room layout was odd. Having the sink by the entrance instead of inside the bathroom was awkward. The parking situation was also inconvenient. The hotel does not offer on-site parking, and the more affordable option they recommended looked sketchy and didn’t feel secure. We chose a nearby enclosed garage instead because it felt much safer, even though it cost $45 per night. The biggest issue, however, was room comfort. The bed was uncomfortable, and the AC in room 219 was extremely loud — so loud that it made falling asleep difficult. The hotel should really address this, and future guests may want to avoid room 219 unless the AC has been fixed. Overall, the excellent location was a major plus, but the dated room, inconvenient parking, uncomfortable bed, and very noisy AC made the stay just average.

Hotel was nice enough, great location, friendly staff. Our bathroom smelled liked sewer maybe once a day? There was no direction on receiving towels, getting our trash taken out. We had to ask for new towels several times but our room was never cleaned over 4 nights. Staffing may have been reduced since construction was ongoing so it may have been just a strange time for the hotel.
