Should be giving 5 Stars BUT (& I feel bad about doing this), I have to knock off a couple of stars for the HVAC system. When we got to the room it was freezing. Looked around for the thermostat and couldn’t find it but finally found a note saying to email or call to change the temperature. What?? Email was not responded to and left message on number. Received call back (total time about 1/2 hour) and super polite and apologetic about missing call and confirmed that, yes, the room temp is controlled externally. Raised it up a couple of degrees. Went out touring the town and came back. Still way too cold. Now late at night, so emailed again and that was never responded to. Might have turned temp up again as it seemed warmer by morning but we dug extra clothes out of our luggage and put all the covers we could find on the bed and basically huddled under cover until morning. Personally, I would never again stay at a place where you can’t set your own room temperature, even though I was unaware of this at time of booking and not really something I would ask. Just letting fellow travellers know and, again, feel bad not giving a better rating☹️

I’m not a huge fan of the self check in. I stay at bed-and-breakfasts to be welcomed by a person. We had a bit of an issue, gaining Entry and had to call the number given. The breakfast was delicious and the staff very friendly. We did manage to get a spot in the back of the hotel for parking. One side of that area has branches growing, which made it difficult to get in until we turned the car around. Our car was loaded since we were in route to Hilton Head and if we had had to park on the street, I would’ve been very unhappy because of worrying about all the stuff that was in our car. I think if I had known that I would not have planned to stay here. The location was convenient for walking to dinner at the old pink house. I don’t mean to sound negative, I just wanna tell it like it is.

Stayed at the Green Palm Inn this weekend and loved our stay. Homemade cookies and glasses of wine is complementary in the afternoon. The breakfast was amazing! Nicole was a delight. She took care of my dietary restrictions-no beef or pork, no carbs or sugar and was able to create 3 different delicious breakfasts on the 3 days that we stayed. Don’t let her go!!!

Great place

Nice bed and good breakfasts. However, hated the spray spigots in the shower, the BR window frame was rotting, and just did not like the Bathroom at all; the AC vents were grossly dirty/molded throughout. The downstairs lobby area was very nice but everything in it’s entirety needed a good cleaning.. I would not recommend it.

The room was beautiful and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfasts were amazing! It was such a pleasure to stay in a historic home. We were in a very quiet area and walking to the river district or other areas of the historic district was easy and close. Private parking was a plus and great. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will certainly be back.

The house is lovely and seeming well maintained. There is self check in and no staff on site except for breakfast so if there are issues you have to call a phone number for assistance. The room was freezing and had no temperature control. Extreme overuse of scented laundry products made me physically ill and we almost left after one night. Only the coat of the room and a creative workaround prevented that. Breakfast the first day was acceptable but I don’t believe the pancakes were made from scratch the syrup wasn’t real. The second day’s breakfast was mostly left on the plate. For the price the breakfast should have been better. Outside noise the first night kept every guest in the Inn awake. Finally, the sheets weren’t cotton and were icky and slippery.

Breakfast by Nicole each morning was delicious! Snacks and wine were out for grabs as well. Parking was easy enough and we were close enough to all we wanted to do; many within walking distance (further but certainly doable). Room was clean and comfortable, tidied and replenished each morning. We would definitely stay here again if visiting Savannah!

Quaint B&B. Our room and bathroom were small, but sufficient for our needs. Alex the Inn manager was very responsive and accommodating by allowing us to check in early so we could get ready for a wedding. Nicole prepared a delicious breakfast in the morning! The two parking spots allotted for the Inn were full, but we were able to park on the street for free since it was after 11 pm and there was no charge on Sunday.

The breakfast daily was amazing. I loved waking up and having our breakfast ready for us downstairs. Nicole was amazing making us feel very much at home. The wine in the afternoon was wonderful as well. Loved how every day we came back from our long day of walking all over Savannah and our bed would be freshly made. We would have new towels. Beautiful place!

Really unique property in walking distance in the historic district. Overall, very much enjoyed our stay here and would come again.

Homemade breakfast was great with warm peaches and pancakes. Always homemade brownies or cookies available in dining room or fresh fruit and wine. For anyone elderly or with bad hips, it would be hard to climb over the very high tub wall/shower in Sabal Palm Room. Very high colonial bed same. You climb up 2 stairs to reach mattress. Once up there, it's great! Also, being a Gardner at heart, tl have all dead plants on front porch of such a beautiful Inn, I wanted to run out and buy even artificial ones and redecorate the porch. I understand there's a draught now but there's many things you can do to remedy dead palms. The front porch is important...curb appeal! But once inside, lovely.

Great location beautiful and clean room

There was no staff on site (a woman came in and made breakfast and cleaned rooms but was not there other than that). We would have liked to have someone on site to talk to.
