The Comfort Suites At WestGate Mall recently underwent a complete hotel renovation in 2022, including all rooms and public areas. The hotel is five miles from the University of South Carolina Upstate. They did not fill the conditioner up in the show the whole time we where there . Was empty.Also there was a toad stool growing in the hall of the building you think when they swept someone would remove that. I understand they have dampness in buildings but that should not be there for people to see.

Staff was absolutely amazing, room was very nice and clean, we did have one issue with the air conditioner and they had it fixed very quickly. Pool is kinda small but still very nice and never was crowded.

Nothing I was there only long enough to find out the sofa bed was not functional and broken and my daughter had no where to sleep..they could not give me another room and we had to leave with an 11 year old and had to find somewhere else to sleep for the night. The staff was rude to me when asked to get a manager..They had none. Called the next day..still no manager and still out $200

Overall, the site looked good and everything was in order. It was a nice visit.

Everything was good. Very nice hotel. With that being said... BEWARE IF YOU LIVE WITHIN 50 MILES OF THIS HOTEL THEY WILL CHARGE YOU A 250 DOLLAR INCIDENTAL FEE!!. Just because your a local. Then they take 7 to 10 business days to refund your money.

Staff was very helpful. Room smelled of weed when we got into room. Let front desk know and they came to the room and sprayed room since they had no rooms available to move us too. Tried the pool door wouldn’t read our key cards. Breakfast was ok, did the job. Easy location for a one night stay going through town.
