Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Virginia Beach Town Center

I had a very small room and the bathroom sink did not work at check-in. It did not get repaired until the next morning.

Great location, great staff, I'll be back.

Staff are nice and friendly except asking the purpose of my staying i want to rest.. and breakfast serve more early than other hotel.

This property is in a convenient location. It is quiet, clean and plenty of parking.

I had requested early check in. No worries if it’s not available but to be told “your room will be ready in five minutes” for 1.5 hours is completely unacceptable. We could have gone to dinner but instead we had to rush to our event without showers or dinner while we watched so many people check in. For them not to have house cleaning go clean our room was very lacking in customer service. Then when we finally got our room, the maid was still cleaning for another 15 minutes. When we returned after our event that night at midnight we found the lock on the door locked from the inside. Completely exhausted, we had to wait again for them to let us in our room. I’ll never stay there again. Person with me, a Marriott status member agrees and will be switching to Hilton. Just terrible

There was no safe in the room, no hot tub and the pool hours were, in my honest opinion, lacking. An indoor pool is a lovely amenity and the main reason I chose this hotel. However it's only open 9-9, which leaves something to be desired. Those night owl and early riser guests won't get much use of it. For me that's disappointing as I fall into both categories and would have loved if the pool closed at midnight and or opened at 0600. Otherwise, this was a pleasant stay and staff was friendly and helpful.

The receptionist Pete was fantastic.

Room was clean, breakfast was good, my only issues was that the room never got serviced during my stay. I had to request for towels the next day because no one came in and clean and check on the room.

The room was good. It was clean. Breakfast was ok. My only complaint is that they only clean rooms every 48 hrs. I had to get more towels. You pay more for rooms these days and get less service.

Only one staff member was less than kind when we asked for help with the wine/beer bar. The guy that helped us during check in was very nice and helpful with the fire pit. The bathroom in our room could have been cleaner. Overall great stay and would return!

We enjoyed our stay at this property. The lobby is very attractive and comfortable. Our room was clean. The breakfast area was also clean. There were two attendants, very pleasant ladies, who kept an eye on the food and the counters. There’s plenty of parking and we felt safe walking from the well lit garage.

I love the Marriott chain - the room itself was very comfortable and the hot breakfast included was yummy. When I checked in, the front desk woman was very angry. She seemed annoyed, never once made eye contact, I was afraid to ask a question. I checked out the next day - there was a different woman and the manager - both of whom were so lovely. I mentioned to him that both my friend and I stayed at the hotel and we both had the same treatment at separate times from this check in woman the night before. I was told they just got in a new system that they were getting used to, but this was not a welcoming experience at all.
