Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Virginia Beach Oceanfront

Ana was who helped me at the front desk. Truly I give her props for how my vacation got started! Very accommodating with the room & having a view, as well with the parking lot. Appreciate her so much, she needs a raise <3

it was a great place to stay. we were in town for the point break music festival. a bit of a walk but very doable

Their AC broke the first night. It was over 80 in their room. A technician didn’t “fix it” until 11pm. It went out again in the middle of the night and they woke up sweating. They talked to the front desk and said they were leaving for the day and the front desk said they would send someone to fix it while they were gone or find them a new room. We called that afternoon to check in and no updates. They sent someone and said it was working. When we arrived back that night it was 79 degrees. They said they had no additional rooms and they would need to leave to get credited or refunded. They still had two nights. Finally they had to teach our grandparents how to continuously reset the AC over and over for when it goes out. How unprofessional. They finally brought them a fan. Would never spend our money with this company again and will make sure to let our family and friends know. The fact they didn’t offer to credit is insane!

Seems like everything needs to be renovated the AC was not working but they did put me in another room.

The property is run down and lacking in ammenities. We will not stay there again.

Exceptional

Nasty, nasty, nasty. Staff was great Super dirty and the place was falling apart. Stains on the beds, towels, and shower curtains. Just a nasty place.

Breakfast was not available, and the bed was hard. Those are the only complaints I have, everything else was perfect

It was situated at the beach The room was not clean. The shower curtain was full of mold. The balcony was filthy. The sheets had holes in them. The elevator door closed on my hand and did not retract and the staff didn’t care about that. The room had mold around the doorway at the sliding door. The mattress skirt was filthy. I tried to hold the elevator down open and it closed on me I had to pull with force to get my hand out. The staff doesn’t care.

I love the fact of this hotel is oceanfront without all of the expenses the staff is really friendly. Do wish that they had breakfast But there is a lot of breakfast area nearby…we will definitely be coming back. Did not like the elevators

We had basically no internet connection and I work remotely and had to go work in the busy lobby. I talked to the staff and they tried to help but couldn't resolve it. The price was expensive each night and it didn't even include breakfast!! Please contact me about this. Thank you.

The staff was pleasant. The hotel itself is a trash hole. Holes in the walls, stain everywhere. The air conditioning hardly works. You are supplied with no towels and have to request them. I will never stay here again.

Close proximity to things we like. We had no towels in the room. Looked old and dingy. Holes in the wall. Staff could have been a little friendlier. Someone from Wyndham management needs to visit unexpectedly. They may change having their name attached to a place so rundown. Just needs a remodel from head to toe.
