Breakfast Buffet Was Great! Staff Was Awesome
-
Restaurant underwhelming for high priced steak. Understaffed
-
Great stay!

This place just makes you feel special for staying there - thank you to the bellmen for always being so helpful and courteous. Thank you to our bartender at the BIG Bar for having a great chat with 2 strange ladies! Spacious room, clean and updated. The perfect location for walking on the lakefront trail, close to shopping and restaurants near Michigan Ave.

It was very good in all departments. The staff was always helpful. They have large common areas on the first and second level. The staff was able to seat 9 in our party very easily for breakfast and had no problem with special orders even though it was largely a self service breakfast buffet.

As of June 2026, daily drilling at the bottom of the west building. Walls are paper thin. Had some small children screaming and banging around all the time. Breakfast is quite good, but $30. Daily amenity charges are a joke and a terrible trend.

Elegant and spacious! Lighting could be better as there was only one dim light in the rr. But overall the hotel was amazing!
-
Large hotel, but very conveniently located.

It was very expensive. And when we checked in early there was a room available but we still had to pay an “early check in fee”. Then there is a $70+ “resort fee”, which you can use toward dinner only. But we didn’t want to eat at the restaurant in the hotel when we had great restaurants at our disposal in Chicago. Then… the room they gave us was very noisy. The front desk person did help us, but it was a long process and at first she wanted to give us two different rooms that were just as noisy. So I had to be a bit insistent that she actually change the room. We finally did get a new room. However, we asked for it before we left for the day. And at 11 pm I was still waiting for the room.

Hotel is in a great location. Staff is friendly and helpful. We stayed on a high floor and had a great view of the river and downtown. Would definitely stay here again.
-
Our room was clean upon arrival. I could tell the floors weren’t mopped, but I don’t think that is standard between turning the room over for new guests. Overall the room was good. Nice laminate flooring, which made the space feel cleaner and nicer. Awesome view of the river and lake. We had access to the Navy Pier fireworks display right room our room window. Elevators were quick and never crowded. Our interactions with staff were always pleasant. The only downside to this hotel is there is no pool, which didn’t matter this visit as I was traveling my husband. I don’t know that I’d choose this hotel again when I return with my children because a pool is a must for us. Also, having to return to the main lobby to use a microwave is super inconvenient. I wish there were more options aside from the very busy main lobby. The location is the best thing about this place. Super close to every thing. 9/10.

clean rooms and very kind staff
-
A clean modern hotel with friendly staff. I shall be returning.
-
We loved the lobby openness, decor and all the choices. Wished fresh coffee was offered complimentary. The coffee pods in the room were not tasty. Other than that we were very pleased and would come again.
