Sheraton Grand Chicago Riverwalk

The check in was a breeze and “Elle” was so helpful…she gave us tons of information…Hotel was surrounded by everything!!!

Location was great! Riverwalk was lovely and close to Michigan Avenue.

Hotel nice but double bed room had no microwave

Hopefully, we were just a one off. We just had a bad experience. Also, it may have just been busier than normal. No parking garage along with a few other issues.

My departing flight was canceled and rebooked by the airline due to operational issues for the next day and the hotel was not able to charge me the same rate as my existing itinerary for an additional stay in the room.

I liked the convenience to downtown, I liked the bathroom I wished the hot water was more hot other than that everything was amazing. The seats were comfortable. The bed was comfortable. I almost wanted to sleep in the bed the whole time it was nice.

Location They charged me extra for the breakfast. On the bookings it said breakfast is on the house. We were 4 people and on site they told us its only for 2 although its not mentioned anywhere on the booking. I had booked for 4 so I expected breakfast for 4. They took the security deposit and still have not paid back. Yesterday called them and said will look into and asking intricately and giving such an answer that it seems like a very difficult thing to return me my security deposit.

Right on the river! Clean and not too outdated. Breakfast was phenomenal!!! Our room didn’t have a plug for charger for phone. Had to go get a plug in box.

Incredible location. There’s a reason this hotel has continued to thrive after decades in downtown Chicago. The property itself is old and the rooms could use a refresh—but considering the Sheraton has 1000+ guest rooms and the place was BUSY—I think that the room rate is an incredible value. Amazing staff, cool restaurants onsite, perfect location and incredible views of the river and downtown architecture. The lobby was bustling at all hours but was well staffed and managed. My kids and wife all loved it and we’d stay here again, no question.

Really nice staff. I can’t remember the guys name who helped me park my car outside but he was amazing. Pool was clean. The locker rooms were really nice. Overall great experience. Will definitely stay again.
