So nice will stay again and again

The decor is immaculate as the hotel just completed a high investment renovation. Bed was more comfortable than average but that is always subjective. The central HVAC was quiet. L-O-V-E-D the backlit Art Deco burled wood mini bar with lower cabinet mini-fridge in the Jr. King Suite! Each room is a little different and there are a few levels of accommodation so ask lots of questions or do research before choosing your room type. The bathrooms are clean and elegant. For the rooms being 103x years old it's amazing how well everything is. The pool is on the smaller side but very inviting and there's wonderful pool deck seating where you can hang out with friends or family in the evening. This is a fantastic place to stay as a couple. Not encourage families with children to stay here unless they are teens or adult children as the entire property is geared toward a more sophisticated ambiance and not "playland" for Sally and Tommy. When the rain cells roll through town, the huge awning over the valet area helps immensely to keep from getting drenched while hitching a ride. Zero regrets staying here and look forward to being back for the next adventure with my lady. Room service had not started yet (early May 2026) and that was missed. However, it should be starting sometime in June 2026?

Customer service. Paris at the front desk was particularly helpful.

The Stoneleigh an exceptional hotel with an amazing staff and fabulous location
-
Very friendly and professional staff. Beautifully decorated charming, historic hotel. Highly recommend.
-
Disappointed. Very outdated rooms and bath Mold everywhere in bathtub. Street noise loud ALL night. Used to be our go to hotel but will not book again.
-
Oh, and the hotel needs to add an elliptical machine to the very roomy gym -- tons of space where this can fit. Can't remember ever using a hotel gym that didn't have this basic cardio machine (and I travel 200+ nights a year).

Room was large, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. The hotel is being renovated, so a little messy and not all amenities were available. Nice hotel in great uptown location.
-
Everything was lovely, except the resturant and kitchen were being renovated so there wasnt an option for room service. The staff was super accomodating, and helpful.
-
Please keep in mind that a significant renovation project is on-going. The wonderful bar and patio are not available for guests at this time.

The AC in my room would not drop below 75° overnight, there’s renovation on the property and there were also patches in the ceiling. The bar restaurant was closed for renovation, and the entry way for the venue was a walking hazard as well as out of the way. I enjoy going to Marriott hotels because of their quality of service, but I’m concerned that the cost of my stay did not match the experience. I would love to hear feedback from the property management.

Construction , no room service, no restaurant, no bar....makeshift set up serving very limited selection of food in styrofoam boxes and some cocktails in plastic cups.....clearly, I would have stayed elsewhere had I been informed at the time of my reservation. This was a VERY expensiv e room.
-
Wish the room had more decor. Room really had very little character. A bit plain to be honest. However, we love spacious rooms and they definitely are big. We will return in March.

The staff were great and the breakfast was delicious. I was disappointed with the bed as it was not comfortable. It would have been great to have more channels on the TV and a fan in the bathroom.
-
The hotel is in the middle of reconstruction so some of the amenities that we were looking forward to making use of were unavailable. The staff was as accommodating as they could be and we enjoyed our stay none the less. We are looking forward to the renovations being done, as I'm sure the rest of the staff are as well.
-
Staff were so friendly - especially valet and front desk.
-
Am sure that once completed hotel will more than meet 4 star rating. Must however compliment the staff for doing an outstanding job to make up for the construction disruptions.
-
The stay was great. Staff was good but one staff member made my stay ever so pleasant. Great food recommendations and directions to the places I needed to go. Can't thank her enough.
