The Weatherford is a tired property on severe need of repair and ongoing maintenance. It is not a safe property- there are multiple areas that would not pass a building inspection. Neither of the ceiling exhaust fans or one wall outlet worked in our room. There were many 2”-4” “steps” that are tripping hazards. The driveway looks like a well used forest service road complete with severe ruts.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Historic property that is in good condition and fun to be in. Great food. Rooms are small but enough. There are only 8 or so parking spots. Secondary lot is only open from 5 pm to 8 am.

Be advises that this place is from the late 1800's. If you want modern amenities. Go to a chain hotel. This is not for you. Water was hot. Bed was comfortable. Place was clean. Loved it.

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was small but perfect and exactly what we wanted. We loved the vibe and decor. There were 3 bars/restaurants at the property and so many other walkable locations. We enjoyed the life music!

Quaint historical hotel in the centre of Flaggstaff - really couldn't ask for a better location. The varander bar is a great place for a drink overlooking the town at the end of a long day. Historical hotels comes with their quirks, our room had a private bathroom which was just a bath with a shower attachment.

Parking was surprisingly easy. Simply behind the hotel. Historic charm. We were place in the ADT room. Ground floor. On a Saturday night it was very quite. Everyone was very kind. Rachel (upstairs bartender) was outstanding. Only problem was the inconsistent hot water in our shower. Maintenence is on it.

Would not recommend if handicaped, or a larger person. Room was clean, location excellent.

Love the old historic downtown hotels, & we certainly were not disappointed. Room was good size & decor & renovations were all time period. 3 bars & a restaurant (could get food at all bars) was so very convenient for dinner/cocktails. Again they were all decorated so cool & historically it was like going back in time. Ice was available at all the bars so we were able to maintain a cooler in the room in lieu of a room fridge. Finally the staff were so helpful & friendly that I thought I was in Disney world at times. Staff went above & beyond to make our stay memorable & comfortable, & to make sure we had everything we needed. From the front desk staff (so friendly & helpful) to the bartenders (full of information as well as skilled at mixed drinks), all made us feel comfortable & special. Loved learning about the history & poking around the haunted corridors. Definitely one of our top 5 overall historic hotels!

I was pretty bummed overall by my stay. Really nice people working here, but terrible sleep to be had. Hot room, super loud, didn’t get a lick of sleep before a big day. I wouldn’t book here for sleep quality, you’d be better off at pretty much any motel. But the ambiance and vibes of the hotel are really neat if you’re looking for somewhere like that.

The location is great to walk to tons of restaurants and the balcony bar and gopher hole are right there at the hotel. The staff is very nice and helpful. Cons- the rooms and bathrooms are VERY small. We stay at other historic hotels but this waa crazy small. The bed waa not comfortable at all and sunk to the middle. There is no temperature control in your room, so it is what it is. Parking is free for 1 car, BUT there are only 7 spaces so if there are more guests you are paying to park somewhere else. Its OK for thr money right in downtown, but I would look at other options next time.

When we got to our room at night, we went to bed at 11pm. We couldn't go to sleep due to the loud music coming from somewhere. We accepted that we were downtown, and would have to endure this until 2am As we laid in bed, a loud pot banging noise came from the exposed pipe behind my husband's bedside. It lasted 5 minutes or so. It occured every 2 hours through the night. It was impossible to sleep due to the pipe, the loud music and people until 6am. To top it off, it was trash day at 6:30. We did not sleep at all. We complained about the horrible night. She said that the bar across the street has been a problem. She said police are called frequently, but they just don't care. She also said that she hasn't heard the pipe complaint in a long time. I went to take a shower. The shower head did not work. I just used the handheld wand. During my shower, the head popped off of the hose, and flew around the bathroom and my clothes. My husband couldn't even shower. It happened the 2nd night again. The hotel didn't address our complaints at the hotel or email. We overpaid for this rundown hotel. Extremely disappointed.

Very charming place and the staff was extremely helpful and professional. Parking is very limited so be prepared to walk a few blocks. Food was excellent.

A quirky hotel in the heart of the city full of character.
-
Great location and stay! We enjoyed the hotel. The only downside would be the noise from the street at night. We would stay again!

Great hotel, comfortable room, excellence location.

Friendly staff, room and hotel was clean. Bustling nightlife, live music the night we were there. Would stay again
-
Very nice and authentic historical hotel in a good location. Entertaining view from the upstairs ballroom bar. Enjoyed the entertainment in the downstairs bar.
