The Westin Washington Dulles Airport

My room was unfortunately not super clean, the carpet was wet when we got there. No clue why that was. The amenities, in our case the television, did not work and technician had to come to the room. The robe in the bathroom had a stain on it which was not pleasant

The room was dirty. Countertops and mirrors were smudged. They normally give me a walk in shower, but this time I was given a tub shower. The shower curtain was too high and did not keep water in, which resulted in water all over the bathroom floor. No toiletries were on the sink as they usually were. I had to call twice for lotion, and in the end they sent a half used bottle. They took my robe after the first day for some reason and never returned it. I paid for the breakfast ahead of time, so went to try it the first morning. It opens at 7am. By the time I got there at 8am, the one waiter was overwhelmed and the tables were dirty. The trays of food were not refilled again. It was very disappointing. This was the worst experience I had at this Westin. I felt like the property was dirtier and not as well kept as it was in the past.

Bought microwave popcorn in the hotel market, surprise surprise, there is no microwave in the rooms. Had to go to the restaurant to get it popped.

One of my favorite hotels. It’s always clean and the staff is super friendly! Bonus is the shuttle to Dulles airport

I booked upon arrival in the USA at 2 am and sought a room immediately, as we have an early flight out and just a few hours to sleep. We took an Uber to the hotel, and when we arrived they said they were totally booked and had no rooms.

Check in was quick and easy. All the staff I dealt with were friendly and helpful. Had lunch in the restaurant and service and food was great. Room was clean comfortable and quiet. Only issue we had was the card reader going in and out of the parking garage. Didn’t like my cards. Tried reprogramming them a couple of times but they just didn’t work. Staff was accommodating getting us in and out. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

What was most disappointing is that I booked two nights and was unable to use both of them due to travel. I could not get a refund for the second night and I arrived to late to fully enjoy the first night. Also paying for parking was very inconvenient.

Bed was absolutely so comfortable and hotel was convenient and shuttle was great and quick. Nothing all was great.

I paid to stay at the property, so parking should have been included and should not have been charged separately. However, I was charged a self-parking fee, which I believe was applied in error. If the charge was intentional, then I strongly believe the hotel should reconsider this policy, as charging paying guests an additional fee for parking is unreasonable and detracts from the overall guest experience.

Convenient property to fly in or out of IAD. The trip was a little farther than I realized but the shuttle is great!

The room was clean. I was in an existential crisis and the staff were so nice and understanding and curators. I was a mess and they were so nice. I’m so thankful hit for only them but also the free transit to the airport/ shuttle service. The driver was so personable and relatable and cute. Glad i chose to stay there during a hard period of time

Attractive Forgot to clean my room. No free parking

Unfortunately, my experience was negatively impacted due to an injury I sustained while entering the airport shuttle. The seatbelt latch appeared to be defective and exposed sharp metal, which caused a cut to the middle of my left hand. Since the incident, I have been experiencing substantial discomfort, including pain, numbness, and difficulty with flexibility in my hand and wrist area. I was extremely uncomfortable throughout the night due to the severity of the pain and irritation following the injury. I intend to seek medical attention once I arrive at my final destination. I wanted to formally bring this matter to your attention, as guest safety should remain a top priority and I believe this defect poses a risk to others as well.
