Cambria Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd

It was a great place for a short stay.

Room was clean and the shower was nice but it is NOT a family friendly hotel. This is more a hotel for a young couple or an outing with friends. One thing was the marijuana, it was pretty intense the smell was even seeping through the walls, the air was also so dry both my kids got nosebleeds and the baby woke up with a hoarse voice. Also the room was very warm no one slept with covers in and the baby almost overheated in her Jammie’s. There is also a club on the top floor open to the public we were on the 3rd floor and could hear the music until 2 am. I was not expecting that. We will not be staying with my young kids again.

Easy check-in. The elevator took awhile due to all the traffic to the 6th floor (bar and pool). The pool closes at 6pm which seems extremely early after being at the parks all day. And our air conditioning in our room kept turning off during the night and we had to reset it twice.

The shower was also filthy and clearly had not been cleaned properly. In addition, the charging port next to the bed did not work. I informed the front desk, but nothing was done. As a result, I had to use the outlet near the bathroom and leave my phone charging on the floor. What upset me most was the response from staff. When I reported the door issue again on the morning of checkout, the front desk employee acted as if I was lying about the problem and said there was nothing that could be done. She only stated that she would have someone go check on it. After spending the entire stay with a door that would not properly secure, this response was frustrating and unprofessional. Lastly, the parking situation was terrible. Once the hotel parking lot filled up, guests were directed to park in a nearby golf store parking lot. Not only was this inconvenient, but the area did not feel particularly safe, especially when returning to the hotel at night.

Everything was great except the bathroom in my room smelled like vomit. I didn't tell anyone which I should of . But I only stayed one night . And literally only was in the room to sleep and was out by 9am the next day

Wonderful stay. Close to everything! Definitely will be back!

The room was disgusting, gum on the walls, floors dirty, empty food wrappers, and dirty bathroom.

Help the cleaning staff a bit with supplies when refreshing rooms. Also, a few things did not work in the room but it is minor maintenance that is likely ongoing with wear and tear of traffic from guests! Really a special find for 4 of us who were there on business.

they should offer breakfast with stay

Great staff, very clean, loved the rooftop, room had a bit of a musty smell but a very clean room. Prime location! Would absolutely stay there again.

The toilet was backed up and the staff entered with a toilet plumber and left it for the guest to unplug the toilet . The room was not cleaned properly and had to go out and get supplies . Leave that night and was scheduled for 3 nights . Had to get clean operational room.

I took a trip to Orlando with my 11 year old daughter to visit the Universal parks. We had a blast but I wouldn’t choose this hotel with her again. It was geared towards adults with the setup with the rooftop pool/bar.
