The facility was well maintained and the staff was friendly. The location was ideal for Carnaval but outside of that the area location was not desirable. I didn't feel safe walking around the neighborhood.
-
Location was very accessible The outside can be tough.

Attendants are nice. Bad location, facilities are not good, the hotel seems to be a place for escort services.
-
Rooftop is pretty Bed Bugs. Infested with bed bugs. Asked the clerk to pay for a taxi to a new hotel. He refused but he did call us a taxi.

We we staying here for carnival so it was a perfect location to walk. Area not good if you are female travellers or staying for longer than a day or two for carnival. As Property is located very close to a dangerous area of Rio. Food in the restaurant was awful

They cleaned the room daily That if u had a friend from another hotel come to visit you that u would be charged £40 and that would be charged at the end of your stay. You wasn’t made aware until the end of your stay.

Super helpful staff and great rooftop terrace.

Broken bathroom, Old and ugly bedsheets Old towels

The localisation near sambodrome for the carnaval and the rooftop bar. Honestly… far not worth a 4 stars hotel. - reception does not want to provide a second room badge even for 3-4 persons per room - breakfast quite basic for such hotel (toast bread but no toaster ?) - not much diversity - shower not working properly - gym is a joke (2 non functioning bikes and 1-2 more things)

Staff Need a bit more renovation to be modernised

All in all, we are happy with the hotel. It offers the bare necessities, but unfortunately, nothing more. For example, when customers come, they usually have travelled for a long time, in our case 20 hrs, and at night, and no drinkable water, I feel that at least a bottle of drinkable water should be complimentary. Another point was, if you stay there for a week, getting the same breakfast items might get tiring . The staff are making up for the shortcomings though, they were nice helpful and professional.

The rooftop pool was great benefit for the children. The hotel staff were very accommodating.

That once you were in , you were safe given the location of the property. And the pool bar is great The location and the rules that were not clear and the fact that the kitchen and reception were not on the same page. One said 24/7 room service and the other said cut off is at 12. We ordered food, followed up an hour later and still didn’t receive it after that. Asked for the room to be cleaned and on return, still not clean.

What a find. Great location (for us), just a short walk to lapa or santa teresa if needed. Good size room with everything we needed and plenty of choice for breakfast.. Super helpful, friendly staff. The doorman made it feel like we were returning home when we had been out for the day. That's a skill. I would like to see the mini-bar prices displayed in the room but that's just a recommendation for my own benefit

Pool & Poolbar - Bad/unsafe surrounding. Homeless People next to the entry - The tiniest room in the last Level of the Hotel - no service of room change - no toilet brush - horrible lighting - bad ventilation. When coming back from a long day, the room smelled a lot - bad and unhealthy breakfast. Dry bread, some little fruit selection, a lot of meat and a lot of sugar. No fresh juices, no homemade stuff. Everything with a lot of sugar - loud music at the rooftop pool bar even after asking to take it more quiet because we were the only people on the rooftop
