Holiday Inn Express & Suites San Antonio-Dtwn Market Area by IHG

Location. Good room layout. Ripped furniture, cockroaches on the wall, POOL of water on the carpet in front of the AC, awful mildew smell in the room.

Nothing Location was NOT near the riverwalk like stated, charged 2 deposits, staff was super rude at check-in and the ladies who ran their breakfast area were beyond rude and closed the breakfast area early. We have a family of 6 with 3 toddlers. Had 45 mins before end of breakfast and as soon as we got Dow there they tried to hurry me and started closing it down. Wasn’t able to make my kids pancakes because they shut the machine off, no yogurt, no eggs, so all they got was cereal and a cup of juice. HORRIBLE! Closed the door behind me and I demanded they open it so I could grab myself a bagel real quick with 38 mins still left(according to their breakfast times posted) and she was really rude. I asked for a manager(I seen him when we first got down there) and then all of a sudden he was “unavailable” to speak with when I asked. Will never book this hotel again. We were in room 221 which is a family suite…no tv in the bedroom…and no smart tv or movie options at all. Stay away if you’re looking for something nice for your family. Absolutely the worst IHG experience of my life!

I loved it

Nothing really the location is far away from restaurant. No other stores was close for walking. Was not familiar with San Antonio. My bed had ants and hairs with in the sheets. Had such an awful smell of musty and dirty sour water.

Very good breakfast and great customer service . Good deal price and I save a lot of money . Thank you !

We love staying at this hotel. Great service and convenient in the downtown area. We book here often. Awesome breakfast selection as well. Friendly atmosphere. Definitely recommend it. 😊

Good hotel with a spacious two-room suite, comfortable beds, and a good breakfast. The room was quiet, which made for a great night's sleep. The front desk receptionist was very friendly and welcoming. The only issue we experienced was an unpleasant smell coming from the air conditioner in room 319.
