It is well maintained and in the center of all the major shops. It's about a 30 min walk from Oracle Park There is a bus stop within steps from the hotel making. There is alot of foot traffic because of it. The rooms are smaller than what I imagined and there was hair in the tub not sure if maintainance does a very good job of cleaning.

Great room but a maze to get there. Had a huge hot tub type tub in it but couldn’t figure out the jets lol. 2 dirty towels but there were plenty of other clean ones. Really quiet. Nice staff.

Excellent location. Well-appointed room, beautiful Bar with nice outdoor patio area. Valet parking was very convenient, but it was very expensive. Noted $55.00 on website, but I have a MID Sized pick up truck so was charged an undisclosed Oversized rate of $75, plus $10 tax, so parking was actually $85.00. Restaurant food was expensive (I guess all of SF is, but even the hotel's breakfast prices were the same as any other SF city restaurant. $27 for a 2 egg meal. For example, my 8 oz glass of wine was $30.00.

Wonderful stay! The only downfall was not being clearly labeled and visible from the street. I would not have guessed that we would have to enter a door that was labeled as a restaurant. To have to take another “loop” around the block, takes so long because it can’t actually be around one block, to almost miss it again, but thank God I could just back up that time. Would definitely stay again and now that I know, I know how and where to check in.

Unsafe hotel, unknowledgeable, unhelpful staff. For $400/night this shady operation managed to be 100% clueless when a member of our party experienced a life threatening medical emergency and required an AED. The staff didn’t know what that was ( first two staff contacted), then a third “thought it might be in a back office somewhere”. Absolutely atrocious for a supposedly upscale hotel. Thank God for the rapid response of SFFD. Oh, and without so much as an apology or a “we’ll do better next time”. Then on to of it all they charged us for an in room movie we never ordered ( does anyone even fall for those anymore?). Would’ve been unacceptable in a two-star establishment but crazy for a real hotel. Plenty of better, more professionally managed, hotels in the city. Avoid

We had a one night stay at Hotel Zelos to see "Phantom of the Opera" in San Francisco. The only issue I had at all was not knowing where to pull up for the valet, as there isn't a stand, but all you do is pull by the curb where is says "passenger loading" a few feet in front of the hotel entrance, and when you go in to the hotel the front desk person takes your key and gives you a slip and calls the valet. I had accidentally booked my reservation twice, and the staff I encountered was so helpful getting it fixed. Also, we asked for a late checkout (from noon to 1pm) the next day and they accomodated us. The room was clean and spacious.

Could not find the hotel do to unlighted hotel sign also no body wash.

The only thing that didn't quite work was some drainage/plumbing problem in the shower. I know I could've called for help, but I was battling a bad cold and didn't have the mental energy to deal with having my room and belongings disturbed. Wish it was inspected and taken care of before my arrival.
