SureStay Studio by Best Western Virginia Beach Oceanfront

What was supposed to be a relaxing vacation with my grandkids ended up being stressful. The first thing was the pull out couch When we pulled it out there was a urine stain on the mattress and was full of sand. Later that night we went to use microwave and it had flys and thick layer of some sort food in it. If I could have found another hotel I would have checked out. But since my grands were looking forward to a beach vacation. We ended up not using any of the utensils or microwave the whole time we were there so we ended up wasting some of food that we bought with us to save money cause the place was so dirty. And I have pictures to back this up. DO NOT STAY HERE. Ended up spending more money on food that I planned on cause didn’t even want to eat in the room

The staff were great. Very friendly and informative. I loved that we were just a few feet from the beach and boardwalk The place was dirty. Our room was filthy. The floors were dirty, it was obvious that around the beds were not swept in quite a while. dried food on the cupboard doors, vents were dirty. The hall ways were small. I could keep going

Liked how much more room there was then what may have appeared to look like in pictures. Definitely could not get enough of the view. Liked the location for convenience when wanting to go out to eat or souvenir shopping and just walk on the beach. Would definitely stay at SureStay again if I go back to Virginia Beach. Can't really think about too much of anything. Really had nothing to do with the stay but brought my own ice cube trays and the freezer did take a long time to freeze ice cubes. There was a little bit of an issue with the outlet for the microwave where I did have to switch the outlet in order to use the coffee maker. I was in room 606 where you may want to check that outlet? Otherwise it was a great stay and I would come again. Liked the amount of space, view and location.

I love the location of the property. It was close to everything. The parking was so tight and small.

Great location Never cool in the room, food left from other guests in the microwave, that tells me it wasn’t cleaned out by the maids, shower curtain wasn’t the cleanest and a old bath cloth was left; something else that wasn’t cleaned properly

staff and service where great everything was good, just elevated takes a long time but the stay where great staff really nice rooms clean love the view of the ocean
