Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Charlotte I-85 Airport, NC

Ive stayed at this hotel multiple times and its very decent. However, last night the front desk was not helpful. I booked an online reservation hours prior, I went to check in amd they told me I needed a card for a "virtual wallet". I said I already paid and you can use my card for the security deposit. They said no you need to call expedia amd have them set up your virtual wallet. This was at 11pm. After 45 mins expedia gave me a number for the front desk to call amd set it up. I related the information to the front desk and they said it was "impossible" for them to do that. I sat in the lobby for over and hour teying to figure this out, mind you I had a reservation and had already paid. A few minutes later the man at the front desk said "oh its working now." All of a sudden there was no need for a "virtual wallet" and everything was fine. Ive never heard of anything like that at any hotel in my life especially considering the hotel was already paid in full. I am skeptical to come back to this hotel as I wasted so much time and stress for no reason when I didnt have much time to begin with.

He also drove the van to the airport the next day. (A few hours later.) The water was $3 from their pantry area, which is ridiculous. Overall, the hotel did what it needed to do. The bed was comfy and the room was clean

I paid for every day breakfast and Monday they didn’t have breakfast.

I was impressed by this hotel. The prices were really low in comparison to others; however, the amenities were definitely on par with more pricey properties. The breakfast was good, the airport shuttle was swift, and check-in was easy. I’ll stay here again.

The property is in need of renovations. The ceiling in my shower was moldy.

The rooms are outdated and also the reception area needs a face lift.. There was no soap in the room. The front desk staff also does shuttle run

Booked this hotel for the pool that is listed on the site, I arrive with my children and the pool is closed down and has been. When i asked about a refund of some sort i was told i could get a partial but then told I couldnt receive it because I booked through hotels.com and then nothing after. The side door was unlocked the entire two nights stay and there were people off the street coming in with there pets through the side door and just sitting in the hallway. I felt very unsafe I was a single mother traveling with my 2 young children. Do not recommend.

I think I had bed bugs in my bed and the pool wasn't open I wanted to make me since I stayed there

The room came with refrigerator and microwave. Had alot of TV channels to choose from. The bed was on slacks and it fell on one side. The AC was not working and it was uncomfortable.

Check-in and check-out were very easy and fast. I was a bit surprised by the front desk attendants’ reaction when I brought to their attention the fact that one of the four pillows on my bed had blood droplets stains. I only noticed it in the morning but .. before I shaved.It didn’t seem to be too concerning and I did not hear a solid apology. The main thing I heard was that it would be brought to the manager’s attention. This made me wonder if the sheets had been changed on my bed. I must admit that the sheets did look a bit tired and not as crisp as I had experienced them about a week earlier when I stayed at the same hotel. I was also a bit surprised when some staff members I came across in the hallway did not initiate a greeting and did not return my greeting. Overall I enjoyed my stay and would stay again if my travels take me that way again.

Tha facility was old and not well updated. Although it was clean many areas were in poor conditon. The parking lot had horrible holes in the asphalt that were difficult to navigate. The employees were great even though they were obviously understaffed. Twice when I needed the front desk they were gone on a shuttle run to the airport. They returned quickly but it was still inconvenient. Exterior lighting was not in good working order and the exterior door closest to our room could not be opened from the outside. It would not take much to make it a great place again.

Left door hanger to have room cleaned but it didn't get cleaned.

I liked that the property was a few minutes from the church. I didn’t like that one gate was closed and I had to drive around, the ice machine looked like they found it in someone’s dumpster, so I didn’t use it. The iron was horrible, very used and could be replaced.

Bedding, clean linens and good AC No amenities, gym is falling apart. Pool closed, bad parking hard to access entrance.

Staff was proficient, friendly, answered questions, handled requests promptly. Room was very clean, including bathroom and appliances, the bed was very comfortable. Air conditioner malfunctioned the 2nd night. Staff came twice (they were prompt after I called) but had to move me to another room.

Came to stay here while I was attending class. Room is very nice, bed very soft. Minor ding on there and not being any soap bars near the sink, and the body wash soap was finished after the first day I was there, but otherwise it was a pleasant stay
