Hampton Inn Norfolk/Chesapeake (Greenbrier Area)

Room was spacious and clean but bathroom could be updated. Staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice. Wish they weren't paving the parking lot because it made it difficult to get in and out. Also, it's on a noisy busy street.

Everything is good but hotel looks old and bathroom should be updated. Compare with other hampton inns I have stayed, this one is not the same quality. With the price of $250/ night, I expect it is much better.

First morning noted no shower body cleanser. Went to front desk and requested it and additional hand towels and wash cloths. Was told I was placed on the housekeeping list. In late that night. No additional linens. Next morning a housekeeper in the hallway gave us wash towels. Room was supposed to be serviced that day. (Signage in bathroom said linens, bed making, garbage etc, attended to every other day). In late that night, nothing done. So in a 3 night stay, room wasn’t attended to, linens were scarce. Staff was nice especially the ladies serving breakfast but little follow through. I will not stay there again.

Location No hot water in the morning. Then I was charged for a additional night when I checked out and was told I had to wait for the money to be replaced. When I clearly didn't authorize the transaction. I will not be staying with this hotel again.

Location was good. Bathrooms were dirty. I took pictures to show the front desk. They said they would tell housekeeping. Dirt on floor and on baseboards. Dust on cabinet under sink that you could write in. Breakfast was not good. But the kitchen workers were wonderful! They were amazing and friendly. The pictures I took are not great. Lighting was bad. But you can write in the dust.
