Economy 7 Inn Near Hampton University VA

They had smoking rooms and non-smoking rooms we went into the smoking first and it looked like they threw the box springs in mud and just put them back in the room. We went to the non-smoking room on one bed obvious dog hair all over I have pictures and the other bed had been used. If I didn't have to give any stars they would have got zero. Unless you are absolutely desperate no matter of fact sleep outside.

I wished I could attach pictures. Initially I was going to cancel the room. Then the sent me a email thanking me and stated they had renovations. THAT WAS A LIE! STAY AWAY!!

Absolutely the most disgusting motel I have ever stayed in. I will never stay here again and will tell everyone I know not to.

Air conditioning was good

This place is ok, I didn't have any problems, the water pressure is low and my TV turns on at max volume, would scare some people, but that's the only issue I had.

The room was clean, although the property itself, is in a sketchy area & done of the people staying their were a bit sketchy, too. This was my second time staying there & both times there were police at the location responding to a disturbance. Thankfully, this didn't occur at night. Both occasions seemed to be during the middle of the day.

This hotel is perfect for the price. The staff was so kind.

Nothing to like It’s was very dirty . The sheet was not changed after the previous guest. There was stains in here in the sheets in the bed friends the customers are filthy and the pillows was disgusting.

No amenities, shower had standing water in it , walls and baseboards were dirty, base of the toilet was dirty,and the bathroom mirror had a film over it that you couldn't even see yourself in it. Was quite tho

No water pressure in the sink… bed spread had burn holes.. called front desk to ask if I could pay the extra charge to stay later than the 11am check out, was told “if you leave by 1:30-2pm your good no charge”. By 11:30 am while showering there was pounding on the door telling us it’s their cleaning time and we should leave… my husband explained we already confirmed with office that we were leaving later…he then went to shower and 2 more times there was pounding on the door telling us to leave for their “ cleaning time” not to mention the place is NOT all that clean!

The room was clean. It was hard for me to understand check-in guy. They do NOT have an ice machine.

Recently painted, excellent WiFi No soap dish in shower, floor dirty, poor water pressure

They weren't flexible at all (only 30 "extra" minutes) on late check out despite reviews and previous reception saying otherwise

Pembroke ave. When you're coming and going. Not the hotels fault, be careful.

Solid 3 star hotel. Stayed 1 night for a concert at the coliseum. Extra star for late check out at 2pm! Staff was friendly, place was clean enough but definitely needs updating. If you just need a cheap place to rest your head then this is perfect for that price.

The mattress was comfortable. The bathroom was somewhat recently re-done with tiles, and the toilet was newer and functioning. TV worked, but we didn't really need or use it. Check-in was quick and easy. The room smelled so bad of smoke it was completely disgusting. Everything we brought into the room was infused with the smell of cigarettes. Was afraid to leave our door open to air it out, due to the questionable area, guest with a visible handgun on his waste in a holster, made me feel like I should have brought mine. Had to wash our clean clothes we didn't even wear once getting home due to the overwhelming odor of smoke. The bedspread, words really can not describe how crusty it was. Glad we brought our own blankets to use or would have been without. Every surface in the room had burn marks, if the smell wasn't so bad, that really wouldn't matter. Did I mention the smoke smell?
