Recently renovated, RumFish Beach at TradeWinds offers a beachfront accommodations and is located 30 minutes' drive from the Tampa International Airport. There are 4 outdoor pools, including an adults-only pool, 2 hot tubs, and an on-site restaurant with a 33,500-gallon aquarium where guests can snorkel with the fish. Accommodations feature a flat-screen cable TV, microwave, and small refrigerator. Some suites include a balcony with a view of the courtyard. All Gulf Front Villas include balconies overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. Watersports (like kayaks, standup paddleboards, and floating loungers), shuffleboard, and SunSetter Game Zone with games like ping pong, foosball, giant Jenga and mega Connect-4 are available. The Touch Tank Experience and a fitness center are available to all guests. A spa and tennis court are available at RumFish property. Spa is also located at RumFish Beach at TradeWinds. Guest may still use the amenities and restaurants at our neighboring resort, Island Grand at TradeWinds. Adult activities such as Cigar Rolling Workshop and Sip and Paint classes are available. The SandBox beach lounge offers live entertainment, drink specials, and nightly campfire s'mores. RumFish Grill serves dinner with nightly entertainment. It also features an indoor and outdoor bar as well as a 33,500-gallon aquarium. RumFish Beach at TradeWinds is 11 mi away from the iconic Dali Museum and 7 mi from Boyd Hill Nature Preserve. Saint Pete Beach city center is less than 1 mi away. Self-parking is available at a charge of 25 USD per night with in and out privileges.

Those were relatively minor inconveniences, but when traveling with kids, waiting for an elevator that doesnt come can feel like hours... Staff was very courteous and helpful explaining the amenities.

This was our second time staying here and was and still is very clean, and maintaining the beautiful resort. Would definitely go back again for sure and staff was helpful when our flight was so late and understood that we was going to be very late checking in.

Great beach and pool set up, very easy to get around and lots of fun things for kids to do

All of that aside - almost all staff members we’ve encountered have been fantastic. The beach views are stunning. Onsite activities are great. The rooms are clean and the free WiFi is good.

However, 3 out of the 4 elevators were out which made it very inconvenient.

Fun Bar Pool Area and great beach service. The bartenders and wait staff that covered the beach chair area were so friendly. It made our stay!

I didn't stay and had to pay for something I didn't use, even paying for insurance, I communicated to the hotel that it heard an error in scheduling the dates in the same second it was done, it took hours to answer me saying that I couldn't do anything, I found it a great lack of consideration and empathy

I loved how everything needed is all in walking distance from the resort! I didn’t like the musty smell in the room but purchased air freshener and dryer sheets and it helped tremendously.

Really enjoyed rumfish overall but definitely need to come back. The kids night out was perfect for date night with my wife kid free Resort pools were always clean and areas around them well maintained. The beach area was breathtaking and included the loungers with our stay. Lots of activities for the kids we were never bored. There were some hidden fees we were surprised with when we checked out. But it wasn’t much so we overall enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful stay at Rumfish. The ocean view from our room was beautiful. The amenities of beach towels and beach loungers and umbrellas was nice and easy to access. They had a lot of fun activities for kids.
